2017 Panetelas (MRBRW)

This used to be my drive to work with a cup of coffee cigar for many years. It was my favorite cheep and cheerful cigar, back when that category existed. This cigar is always full of flavor and you don’t have to wait 5 years for the caramel to come to the party. Of course like most of the cigars I love to smoke my dear friends at HSA discontinued it. Fortunately being a member here I got a heads up and was able to stock up on these. I don’t have to drive to work anymore, but I still love them with a morning coffee.

I picked one that was well filled, perfect colorado wrapper and the draw is nicely snug. First puffs, caramel, vanilla and toasted tobacco. A couple more puffs and coffee and a little nutmeg come in. So 4 puffs in and all the boxes are checked, a $3 cigar that for me blows almost every NC out of the water. It’s sweet, rich and soft, there’s nothing like Cuban tobacco 🌈

When you get one with caramel it is to die for....with these I often think it is like putting a few bucks in a slot machine--just never know.
