So for people that don't know. 

A, Rishi Sunak is our new prime minister

B, Rishi Sunak is very, very, very rich

C, Rishi Sunak is a 'photo op' junkie

D, Rishi Sunak does not understand the correlation between tax evasion of the uber wealthy (him and his wife), and hulled out public services affecting those in poverty

E, Rishi Sunaks wife still (to this day) does multi-million £££ business with Vladimir Putin

There are no words for how much I despise this man, it's not necessarily that he simply does not understand mass poverty, and that he and his class have caused it, but rather that,.... like a craven vulture on a corpse, he thinks it's a good photo op.  

It's like finding out someone has killed your pet dog, then a couple of weeks later you read in the paper that the person that did it is selling tickets for strangers to come and urinate on the grave. 

Do you know what is the saddest thing about this clip.   It's not that plight of the homeless man,  or the craven nature of Rishi Sunak,  it's the fact that the guy actually talks in semi-optmistic terms about "Finance".     I want to scream in his face.  "It's this little b*******d that's robbed you blind!!!!  don't thank him for dishing out a few sausages....he's been robbing you blind for 12 years.  Him and his class have absorbed, dissolved, and deposited all of your dreams into their offshore bank accounts for generations...........You're not getting an investment bankers job....... thats just for Eton and Winchester College Alumni"

This must end.............heres to Terry Hall of The Specials.....A good man that died this week Much "Too Young"..    The UK is once again a "Ghost Town"

i do not know a lot about either sunak or his wife although i do suspect that you could name anyone out of the governing party and you would be no happier. in his favour, i would say that even if i don't know much about him, he has to be a thousand times better than truss. 

i would also suggest that you could put the name of almost any politician, any side of politics, in your complaints or jiggle them about a bit and we have pretty much any and every politician around. anyone thinking that some politician is going to arrive and save the world or at least their corner of it is very likely, as one of our footy commentators would say, to invite disappointment into their lives. 

i must say that i am not a fan of dumping on politicians' wives, unless they insert themselves into the political process. she did not run for office and should not have his sins dumped on her. she may well have plenty of her own which is fine, but harsh to throw her in the cesspool for her husband's actions. also, when you say that she is doing multi-million pound business with putin, a quick flick through the google reveals that she owns less than 1% of a company which has done business in russia (and is supposedly withdrawing, though it seems very slow). she is not involved in the daily decisions. and that came from the guardian so hardly a source which would be likely to favour the sunaks. in this case, surely every human with an investment in a company with contact with russia is just as guilty. yes it would be nice if every company fully withdrew but it does seem that the criticism here is a little selective.

'him and his class'? seriously? parents were immigrants who worked really hard. his father was (possibly still is?) a GP. mother ran a chemist shop. they saved everything they could to put him through top schools. he worked in restaurants to support himself. he was clearly very bright and did well and got into oxford. meanwhile the bloke on the other side, also ended up in oxford. what the hell is the difference? why are you not just as offended about him and his background? starmer is a KC. so he is hardly likely to be found with the begging bowl and if people want to bitch about the class difference, trust me, KCs are probably a few rungs up the class chain in the UK comparted to an immigrant family. toss in that his wife is also a lawyer (nothing wrong with any of this but a bit harsh to dump on one side when the other side seems not far removed). i'd add that only one of them has been knighted and we all know where such things place one in english society. also, any politician who claims to be mates with celebrities and actors leaves me cold, whatever side they are on.

on the plus side, apparently he is an arsenal fan so that speaks well of him. 

anyway, always fun poking around about this stuff and i read something that staggered me and perhaps you can corroborate? one thing i read said starmer is just 5/8. but they said that he was an inch taller than boris who was just 5/7. i am staggered by that. he always came across on tv as a tall bloke. i would have guessed six to six two. but it does explain a lot if it is true. 

but surely one suspects that sunak is only there for a very short period, unless he shows enough to remain opp leader after the next election.

Had the misfortune to meet Johnson once at an official function. He is indeed a small, badly dressed, unimpressive buffoon. My girlfriend at the time, who was not from the UK so didn't understand all the upper class public school bullshit, described him as a "creepy little lech".

Yes. They’re all basically the same opportunistic, narcissistic personality types, irrespective of their starting point. Or maybe they just become this even with good intentions starting out.
