A little over a year ago our good friend @Chas.Alpha posted a competition with an over generous prize of a RyJ Churchill, Fundadores and a Punch DC. Chas asked members to describe how they would smoke the special cigars. 

My entry spoke about how my then fiancé of 9 years and I would spend many afternoons in college with a cigar at a local lake. If chosen we would smoke the cigars to celebrate our engagement. 

Well wedding planning and convincing the bride to be to spend 2 hours smoking one of these behemoths without getting green made timing the occasion difficult.

One month after the wedding we finally got around to it! And now the cigars that were to celebrate the engagement have a much more grand cause. The cigars were simply outstanding and were enjoyed with no green faces! 

Such a generous gift by Chas, reminds me of a big reason we smoke cigars. This community as a whole is simply outstanding. We just witnessed another immense act of generosity a few weeks ago with the hurricane relief competition. Simply an outstanding group of people on here. 

The Punch DC will be saved for the first child, some years down the road. Cheers Chas!

To be fair, it wasn't so much an act of generosity as it was a combination of 1) Boredom that particular weekend and 2) A bit of payback to my FOH community for the amount of weekly comps I have won over the last few years! I even won the Cohiba review weekend by burning a CORO that I won on another weekend review!!! 😆

Glad you liked the smokes, Dallas! That PDC should be just about right by the time we're welcoming Dallas jr.!!!
