Or is this a way to sell cigars that didn’t pass QC?  Seems like there’d be a lot more to sell than a handful from new rollers. 🤔

Same reason I would never eat at a "cooking school".

I want a small insert in the box with a quick story about the roller.

"This is Tim. He was not good at rolling. But please enjoy these wonderful cigars. sorry for the draw problems."

Tim is now in Cuba learning how to fit a Russian Diesel engine into a ‘57 Chevy... 😔

Great idea.  I like @jakebarnes idea of a bio on the roller.  Any specialty product that brings the consumer closer to the process makes them feel a part of it.  It is more likely to build brand allegiance and loyalty.

Very soon we'd be having polls on who's your favorite roller

Then they'll have an Only Fans page for a monthly charge.

I thought they already did such a thing as seconds or bundle cigars.   This seems like just marketing it differently.  Was going to insert a joke that they’re still better than most Cubans.  However, I’m on a pretty good run.  Been a while since I’ve had a poorly rolled one.
