Just crunched some numbers on the top box codes for 2021 to date. I will provide a top 10 at the end of the month. 

Number 1 to date  is  SOU

You will see it on a range of Hoyo, R&J, Upmann, RA, Trini. 

It didn't have it all it's own way and was pushed pretty hard by a few others.

Minimum number of any code inspected must be 100 boxes.

Not quite relevant but I have a december 19 box of SOU Party Shorts, more Rosado wrapper then my TRS box from nov which are dark and close to maduro. Still super oily looking, maybe I'll sample here soon. the TRS box is smoking awesome though.

whats the most recent '21 box code you've seen up till now? I think I only recall seeing jan boxes so far on 24:24

Keep in mind the list is based on codes seen in the first half of 2021. Not 2021 codes.

LOL I'm regretting the same thing. My young El Laguito box isnt smoking as well young as the SOU CORO from the Christmas sampler smoked.

I feel like this thread was a primer for tonight’s 24:24.  I wanted to buy both SOU coded offerings for no other reason than el prez mentioning how on point the code has been.

Bummer to hear about the El Laguito box. I believe the CORO from the Xmas sampler was SOV. It unfortunately did not smoke that well for me but I chalked it up to youth.

Didn't someone figure out that SOU was formally REG?  Based on the similarities of my boxes of 2019-2020 codes, it sure seems quite possible.

LG boxes take a good long time to come around.  I'd choose a LG box over any other code, always...especially Cohiba.

@Tstew75 any idea why this is? Isn’t the tobacco from the same harvest/farm? I figured construction and blend accuracy would be the leading cause for superior factories.

My box is still super young so I know it’ll be good with time! The one from the Christmas sampler was unreal and I was hoping to strike young gold twice!

Not from what I've seen.   Who knows.  Guess it will be a mystery.
