smbauerllc Posted March 17, 2021 Posted March 17, 2021 So, i was gifted the below very nice, aged smokes by a very generous person who wishes to remain anonymous, and I have only ever had the monte #4, Picadores and PSD4, the rest are new to me. Looking for some opinions on the best one to smoke on my birthday Friday, as I don't know anything about the ones I haven't tried, and have no idea which one may age the best. Any info/opinions would be great. Kevin48438 Posted March 17, 2021 Posted March 17, 2021 One cigar on your birthday? I’d go with the Party Pres for a bolder after dinner smoke, but I’d also be curious about the Diplo4.

Kevin48438 Posted March 17, 2021 Posted March 17, 2021 I’m a guy who prefers milder in the morning, bolder in the evening. So in your case the Diplo4, which I would expect to be mild-medium, seems like a fit. Since it’s a special cigar I would only do it if I could focus on it. If your playing golf or something, maybe the Monte4. Easy to replace. The Party Pres is a nice one for on deck after the CoRo if need be. 😉 Nice lineup! Should be a great day.

Chucko8 Posted March 17, 2021 Posted March 17, 2021 Imperials would be my choice for that time of the day 1
smbauerllc Posted March 17, 2021 Author Posted March 17, 2021 Imperials would be my choice for that time of the dayAre they on the milder side?I don't mind a strong Cigar at my 11am smoke time, as I have been awake since 5:30am.In general I prefer something in the medium range, but certainly don't mind mild or fullSent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk
cigaraholic Posted March 17, 2021 Posted March 17, 2021 Imperiales.....med-med full....might as well start your birthday with a great cigar 🌈 1
smbauerllc Posted March 18, 2021 Author Posted March 18, 2021 So, across the several forums I posted this on, the Diplomaticos got the most votes by far, so that is what I'm going with. Thanks for the suggestions everyone Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk 1
Edicion Posted March 18, 2021 Posted March 18, 2021 I would go for the Partagas Presidentes and a big strong coffee, Arabica/Robusto blend. I had one the other week and it was a joy from the beginning to the end!

I had one the other week and it was a joy from the beginning to the end! That was actually the one I was planning on originally but decided to get opinions since I have never had cigars with so much age, and most of them I have never even tried fresh, so I was out of my league and also had solid justifications for all of them, so just couldn't decide. Wanted to go with what the most people suggested in the hopes it would be a very good one. The Diplomaticos got over twice the votes of any of the others. Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk 2
