Popular Post chadlevan Posted August 29, 2020 Popular Post Posted August 29, 2020 Just wanted to share the sampler I put together for coworkers that wanted a tupperdor set up for their first Cubans. Made a couple of these. All cigars were from various 24:24 purchases in February 2020 and have been resting until now before giving to them. These are my first Cuban purchases as well. Please give any additional suggestions for cigars we should seek out and try for the first time in addition to these. JL2’s not pictured. Thanks in advance! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk 11
DBNInc Posted August 29, 2020 Posted August 29, 2020 Seems like way too much boveda, but then again what’s the worst it could do? I suggest the HDM Epicure Especial
chadlevan Posted August 29, 2020 Author Posted August 29, 2020 Seems like way too much boveda, but then again what’s the worst it could do? I suggest the HDM Epicure EspecialI realized I may not have fully seasoned the trays and the humidity was lacking as a result. Put a 320g in to help supplement for now. mkirk76 Posted August 29, 2020 Posted August 29, 2020 How about RASS or RASCC? Or VR unicos or famosos?
Kongelunden Posted August 29, 2020 Posted August 29, 2020 Very nice sampler set ? possible suggestions could be: - Magnum 46 (although you have a couple different Upmann’s already) - SLR regios (to cover this brand) - One of the Trinidad cigars (to cover this brand as well) 1

La_Tigre Posted August 29, 2020 Posted August 29, 2020 Are they hiring where you work?.....? Looks pretty damn sweet to me! Good job! 1
Benson Posted August 29, 2020 Posted August 29, 2020 Great samplers man and a great way to get people off on the right foot, I’m sure I’m not the only one who overspent on NC’s/boxes that I wasn’t sure on. I’d add a Vigia and a CoRo just because those are my personal fav’s but gg all around
DaBoot Posted August 29, 2020 Posted August 29, 2020 Excellent sampler!!! Trinidad would be a definite add, since it profile is so different. Also something from the Cohiba siglo line. Maybe siglo ll. Just because they are smoking so well young
Subcomandante Posted August 29, 2020 Posted August 29, 2020 I would add some more Por larranaga, petite Coronas. Maybe a Diplomatico and Vegas Robaina. ERDM Demi tasse and some Punch
Paladin865 Posted August 29, 2020 Posted August 29, 2020 I would add an inexpensive cutter and a small torch lighter. 4
Taco Posted August 30, 2020 Posted August 30, 2020 Strong set up. I’d add a Famoso and CoRo. All in all, it’s great having other people to share these great cigars.
rcarlson Posted August 30, 2020 Posted August 30, 2020 Some RG Perlas or PC and Trinis would help cover the turf.
Rhinoww Posted August 30, 2020 Posted August 30, 2020 That is an awesome set up, complete with a way to keep the cigars in proper shape. Very well done. also a very interesting approach to an initial development of your own collection and a great way to “spread the sticks out” while you figure out what you like.
fokker4me Posted August 30, 2020 Posted August 30, 2020 Nice, lucky friends you have to get off on that foot.

Purchased here on clearance and still young, but absolutely knocked my socks off. Haven't tried the Vigia yet, but plenty resting. Can't wait to spark one up!
MrBirdman Posted August 30, 2020 Posted August 30, 2020 @chadlevan I see we share our taste in containers, hygrometers, and...hockey teams. Let’s hope this evening the latter gives us more cause for enthusiasm than it did last night. 2

KavalanWhisky Posted August 31, 2020 Posted August 31, 2020 Great selection and as others have mentioned a Trinidad, a Reyes or Vigia are always winners maybe. A bit of a hassle but maybe get some labels or a something to say what year and factory code the sticks are from so they will know what they are like with a few years on them if they don't smoke them all within a few months. ? 1
