HH was hilarious. There are many great shows from around that era. A show from a slightly earlier time I've always loved was the Addams Family. But one of the first shows that comes to mind, from slightly later is M*A*S*H. The Carol Burnett Show was priceless. Again many great shows....

Hogans Heros is on my daily watch. (literally).

My local Hamilton Ontario channel runs Retro TV throughout the entire day.

Currently the line up is as follows:

10:00 I love Lucy

10:30 Gidget

11:00 Good Times

11:30 Hogan's Heros

12:00 Fantasy Island

1:00 Mission: Impossible

2:00 Starsky & Hutch

3:00 Sanford and Son

3:30 One Day at a Time

4:00 The Facts of Life

4:30 I Dream of Jeannie

5:00 Cheers

5:30 Happy Days

They change things up every few months. I've watched full seasons of Laverne and Shirley, Barney Miller (extremely funny!), Taxi, Mary Tyler Moore, Mork & Mindy, Rhoda, Soap, Bewitched, The Partridge Family, The Monkees, The Jeffersons (holy crap, another super funny one!) and many others that I'm forgetting.

This has been going on for approx 2.5 years, but now working from home, I watch more 70's and 80's TV than 2000's. :)

Most of these shows I watched in my younger years, no not an opening for one of your comments Rob

I loved watching Gidget and always loved Moondoggie like most girls watching the show

Great memories

I enjoy late 70's surfing scenes. Gidget it the newest addition to the retro block, replacing laverne and shirley.

It's only been on for two weeks maybe. Just getting my bearings on that show. :)

I really didn't mention it, but the show Soap was bloody funny! So crazy on so many levels.

MASH for me. I had Betamax tapes full of episodes for binge watching, way back when.

Mash was on at 7pm for two years, following the 6pm evening news.

Really enjoyed that show. At first I actually thought it was boring. It grew on me.

Klinger was quite a character!

Bit younger than most it seems... so maybe not as much of a time capsule.

Mine are:

- Seinfeld

- The Simpsons

For some odd reason, I remember watching Skippy the Bush Kangaroo as a kid.

The first "grown up" TV shows that I remember got me real hooked would be Hill Street Blues, Moonlighting and Miami Vice.

Fun fact: Benedict Cumberbatch's mom was on the show.

Hill Street Blues was also a great show.

That one ran through its full series on Retro TV.

A serious, but still light hearted, cop drama. One of the originals.

Barney Miller, more of a comedy of course, is my favourite cop related show.
