The good thing about having flown 35 years for a living is that after retirement you tend to keep things simple and concentrate on what's important. So it will be Cuba soon, then possibly Cuba ag

Day after the Solstice, I hit the road from Idaho to visit family in DC for xmas. Covered 2,500 miles in 2.5 days. Day 2 beat/set my new personal best - 1,150 miles driven in one waking day. From Chey

I have a 11 days off in June. Thinking of going to either Yosemite, Grand Canyon, or Yellowstone... I just cant decide yet.

"Downunder" was on the radar but that seems to have been scratched off and Sadly the bike is looking like it's parked for awhile...  but as I have learned in old age you never know.

NOW 2021 that could be a whole new ball game ?

Just got back from Berlin, Prague, Budapest, Vienna and Zurich.  Debating Cuba for the festival.  Working on planning an AUS/NZ trip end of winter(Aug/Sept) for ski trip.  Other than normal work type trips in the US those are my big ones for 2020

Ran into loads of Aussies on our eastern europe trip, including a huge group of medical students.  Apparently based on appearance one can be a medical student in Australia at approximately age 10.  Or perhaps I'm just getting older?

So far two Ski trips.  Vail in two weeks with my oldest for a longish weekend and a week in March in Jackson Hole with all three of my kids and some other families.  Have a few weeks in the northeast for Kids ski races too.

When you are in Miami or New york I could be persuaded? to come for a dinner and cigar if you are doing a get together, Both are easy from Pittsburgh.  Still figuring out beyond ski season.

Visiting Spain in early May, never been there before. 3 nights each in Barcelona, Madrid, Seville and Granada. Would appreciate any suggestions on sites, hangouts, cigar related and non.

Planning a trip to San Francisco in the fall, wine country and redwoods. Again, any suggestions welcome.

To Seattle in March to catch Joe Bonamassa at the Paramount Theatre on the last day of his North American tour. A bucket list item for me.

I've been to three JB concerts. He was a little more rocking a few years ago, but has mellowed out in the last 4-5 years, but still worth seeing the virtuoso, he is my choice as successor to Eric Clapton.

We're doing Big Sky Montana during President's Day weekend in February. I'm not much of a skier but it's our friend's 40th and the ski house migrated from Vermont to Montana this year.

I'm hoping to do Cuba in November, again. That will require the re-up of my Cuban passport. Yaaay! ?‍♂️

My wife and I usually do some big vacay during the year. We might do a few smaller vacations, including Mexico City. If we do a bigger/longer vacation we might do Paris or Italy in late summer.

@El Presidente if/when you come to NYC please let the local crew know. I for one would love to catch up with a great smoke and a drink.

Cheers all!

Big Sky is about 30 minutes from my house. If you’re around this week, send me a PM for a smoke.

Hey Mark... Thanks for the invite, but itinerary is kinda tight and set. Last night here. What a beautiful place Montana! Unbelievable views and a great mountain.
