I’m currently spending New Years Eve surrounded by young, beautiful ladies ... my wife and two daughters.  This is my NYE now that I’m married, older, and a father ... and I love it.

Cheers Mate - best to you, your family, and all the crew - none of us can stem the sand....

Don't know that I'll be able to smoke a cigar, but if I do, it will be a Hayala Carlota

We had a quiet night in, albeit with our son away for the night at my parents. I cooked a Porterhouse steak and a chateaubriand which we enjoyed with a magnum of Perrier Jouet champagne.

I then had an Upmann Mag 56 LE, which was outstanding as usual.

I hate NYE with an ever increasing passion - total AMATEUR NIGHT. But, I LOVE NYD!!!

Had a nice meal with my parents and brothers and nieces / nephews. Now watching football at my local B&M - starting off with a 2001 RyJ Ex #4!

Will be celebrating in the air over Japan, take off in 20 mins. from Tokyo and then 10mins. later I hope Air France will serve some champagne for the celebrations!

After 36hrs. traveling I made it to the other side of the globe, Antigua. Wadadli and a JL No.1 before the grind begins tomorrow morning.

Then no smokes for 10 days as we’re going on the first guest trip of the season.

Just happy that the gentleman that I work for doesn’t enjoy big party’s and crowds!

This is a screenshot of all the yachts on anchor outside the small island of St. Barth on New Years Eve, just nuts! The bottom left corner was last years situation.

I can't think of a better way to bring in the New Year!  Enjoy it because it because it passes quickly

The Dead as in Dead & Co.

Lead by Bobby Weir.

Closest thing to the Dead without Jerry. (which is why they are not the Grateful Dead).

Enjoyed night 3 of 4 last night. Great show!

I didn't get a cigar in but had some good family time. A local theater had a Kung Fu Marathon showing all day New Years Eve. The wife and I were able to introduce the kids to the 36th Chamber of Shaolin and The Five Deadly Venoms. We enjoyed seeing the old flicks on the big screen. If the theater makes it an annual event it may become a new tradition.
