Do you untie the ribbon or leave it on?

Can never seem to get them to line back up in the box if I leave it on, but like the look of it wrapped around the bundle.

I like to take a few out until I can stuff a boveda in there and then I just store in the loose bundle.

SLB's are the square pieces in the game of humidor Tetris ?

I keep the ribbon intact. Pull the bundle out part way by the top of the ribbon, then push a cigar out of the bundle, then lower the bundle back in.

A box of Siglo I bundle slides right in with some room to spare.  This Siglo IV fits so tight it's almost impossible to get them back in when tied and even then you need to smush them down to even get the lid to close.  Some of the feet were already a little boogered up when it arrived and I can see that it's probably from trying to wrestle the bundle back in the box.  if only they would stay in a neat 5x5 square...foiled by physics and geometry once again.

I open the box a crack to allow the humidity to get to the stick.

THEN I slather the box with KY and shoe-horn them into one of my humidors.

Like I store everything - dress boxes, tubos, petacas... in the original untouched packaging until I smoke them. If they are sealed, they stay sealed.

I leave the bundle tied up in the SLB and just reach in and grab a stick whenever I want.  Sure, after a few months the ribbon and wax paper are just in the way, but that tied ribbon sure does look nice.
