I have some QDO EL with TLE code, and one box of Esmeralda.

Seems to be one of the PdR factories as a lot of Trinidads have that code.

My top 12 Box codes for 2019 based on % of high quality yield per mastercase.  This may help you when you are shopping blind with vendors around the world.  The list has been very consistent during the year. The big mover was MOL which came on gangbusters in the last quarter.

  1. MSU
  2. MOL
  3. UEB
  4. EOS
  5. LGR
  6. UAO
  7. UER
  8. ESL
  9. BRE
  10. REG
  11. GOS
  12. RUM

@El Presidente Pres, this was really informative, was there a posting for 2020 results yet, and if not any plans for 2020 analysis on the horizon?

Always gun for GEM (Upmann)

Absolutely GEM is money. Got great H2 and Connie B. But tbh I haven’t seen much mag46 with GEM. More OER and SOU I think.

Yea, most of current prod seems to be SOU/OER.

The other code that I'm never afraid to buy blind is UEB...it's been fire in 18/19. There's mag46 boxes floating around with this stamp.

Question on LME. Got an absolute cracker box of Short de Punch from TAO 19, ordered three more. All from LME ABR 20. Any idea what factory this is and how they're smoking? Don't want to touch them just yet, they're resting.

Anyone else have any good/bad experiences with TLE?  Seem to be a lot of sticks with that code lately.

I have a box of  Trinidad Esmerelda TLE Feb 20. Based on all the rave reviews I had read on the Esmerelda,  my first 2 out of the box did not live up to expectations.  Hopefully they will improve with a year on them.  Inconsistent burn, low smoke output and not complex at all.

Glad I came across this thread. I just took a peek at a couple of unopened Montecristo Boxes I have had stashed for a bit. Looks promising...

Manufacturer Type Factory Code Factory Month Factory Year
Montecristo Linea 1935 - Dumas UEB FEB 2019
Montecristo Linea 1935 - Maltes BRE SEP 2018

Thanks!

UEB one of the better ones.
