It helps significantly, but I still have to fill it more frequently than I'd expect. Then again, it has been in the 90's here and the a/c has been running a lot. I don't expect to have to fill it as often in the winter. A note on the picture: it was taken at my wedding - we had a guy at the wedding rolling cigars.
