Which Skinnies are Smoking Well?

Very few CCs under 42 RG am I finding disappointing. 

Best bets: MdO4, any Laguito No. 1, 2 or 3, Trini Fundy.

Montecristo Especiales No. 1 and 2.

Fundadores have been consistently good for me in the last year.  I've found RAG boxes are especially good, starting from RAG DIC 17.

On the C&C side, I've been enjoying PL Panatelas lately.  Skinnier than most and hard to find a better smoke for the price IMO.  Also have a box of the equally cheap RG Panatelas in the mail because the Perlas have been good to me.

 

Monte 5's have been great for me as well, but I got lucky as my box is 2010 so I can't speak to recent production.  I'll know more about recent prod in a few days when the mail arrives

All of them.  Smoke all the skinnies.  That said, the MdO4, fundadores, and monte especial 2s are all smoking very well for me.

Love all skinnies but my favorite right now is the quai dorsay coronas from 2013.

NSX is correct. All of them. I’ve been smoking mostly PL Montecarlo, LGC MDO2, PL panetela, ERDM Demi Tasse. All are smoking beautifully.

Plmc all day everyday.  Fresh or aged.

Monte especial, haven't had fresh but 2016 is magical.

Fundies are off the charts good now and PLMC i really enjoy but I have some 18/19's...

I have seen them a few times as FOH auction items but not on 24:24 in years.

The Especiales No. 2 are very good in their own right and are up on 24:24 frequently.

Any thoughts on how Partagas Lusitanias are smoking?  I know it's not really a long and skinnie.  Long yes, skinnie no.  Some folks these days probably think it is skinnie since the rg is under 50.

Totally agree.  I got off to a rocky start with these, but lately they can do no wrong.
