My numbers vary some week to week, but on average I think 25 per month is a fair number.

I was perusing a UK cigar forum the other day and stumbled upon a thread that asked how many cigars their forum users smoked. I thought to myself this may be interesting reading whilst I tuck in

I usually smoke one a day... in the evening after dinner. Sometimes, on the weekend, I'll smoke 2 or 3.

It's ok, we won't judge you. Be truthful...

In the warmer months 7-14 a week, likely on the higher end of that.  Dec-March I smoke 3-4 a week.

Just one at a time

1-2 per week normally. Less in the colder months. However I'm working from home right now, so its up a little, more like 3-4 week

Depends on a lot of factors for me. I used to drive for a living and was perfectly happy to smoke in the car i had at that time. I’d usually light one up as i got in the car for work. Smoke 2-3 throughout my shift. Smoke another when I got home.

Then i got a new car and didn’t smoke in it. I would smoke a few clubs or cuban cigarettes throughout the work day, and have a full cigar when i got home.

Then I briefly lived at my parents while i was preparing for the move to Alaska. I would occasionally have a latenight cigar with my dad, but went most days without one.

Then i hot the road for Alaska. Smoked a lot of clubs and the occasional cigar.

Now that I’m in Alaska, I’m working long hours. I’ve only had ~4-5 cigars in the week that I’ve been here.

I’ve set myself up a little spot in the garage where i can enjoy a cigar with some netflix on the tablet. If I’m lucky enough to have the energy (not to mention the palate) to stay up and enjoy a cigar after ~12 hour workdays, I’ll be happy to get 4-5 cigars in per week. Come spring when work slows down, hopefully I’ll be able to get back to my norm.

If i have my druthers on a day off, I smoke one with coffee after breakfast, maybe a chico/club mid morning, one after lunch, one at night. It would seem that a 4 cigar day is not in my immediate furure though, lol.

Maybe I’ll go on holiday in the bush next summer with my big traveldor and enjoy a week of leisure with ~30 cigars. ‘Light at the end of the tunnel’ - the tunnel that is the very busy fall/winter work season of an Alaskan chimney man.

I’m in the 2-3 a week camp. That seems to be the perfect amount for me to use it as a relaxation and momentary escape from everything else that’s going on.

1 to 4 a week is typical for me, with time being the biggest limiting factor. Just seems that there are never enough hours in the day to fit everything in.

Usually 1 a day, in the evening to wind down before bed. Sometimes 2 on Sat and Sunday if a long day of watching football.

I don't suppose I'm literally alone but I'm certainly in a minority of one on this thread (so far) ...I go weeks or even months without smoking at all. The moment, the mood and the time to commit all have to align for me and I guess they just seldom do. Although sporadically I'll have a burst of 2 or 3 in a week. I suppose that one upside at this point, having bought way more than I've smoked, is that almost all my inventory is sitting comfortably in a 3 - 5 years of age spot.

I think what many of us would like to know is how many does @El Presidente smokes in a day?

I would imagine that he has to try many different cigars to gauge how good they are - and does smoking a cigar ever become a chore?

" and does smoking a cigar ever become a chore?  "

Some years back I was chosen to review ten cigars for a now defunct Cigar magazine.

Eight of them were nearly identical spanning eight brands, at that point, along with the deadline, it became a chore.

The other times I did reviews for folks, it was a lot more fun.

I try to have two a day on week days, and at least one a day on weekends.
