Gurkha Wins In Blind Taste Test Of One Of Cuba's Most Renowned Master Rollers

There aren’t many NCs that can crawl under the bar set by the Gurkha brand sticks for me. I am having heart palpitations just thinking about having to smoke another one of those pieces of sh$t.

" Gurkha Cigars are known throughout the world for their premium and luxurious cigars, so it's no surprise that they are the most sought-after cigars around the globe "

Right. I can get them for $3.00 each, and I still don't buy them........

It never ceases to amaze me why cigar makers who tout their NC cigar superiority, continually feel the need to compare themselves to Cubans.  I don't hear Padron doing it.

...

The Hotel Nacional is arguably the most important hotel on the island and Morales has one of the most respected cigar palettes in the world.

I believe Padron's marketing actually specifically mentions how the Padrons represent a continuation of a Cuban-borne tradition and their products are made with Cuban-seed tobacco and box-pressed in the Cuban tradition blah blah blah.

And Morales may have nice palettes, but if he truly picked Gurkha over the Havanas mentioned in the article, his palate is shit.

P.S.: For what it's worth, the Cellar Reserve lines are garbage. I received 3 as a gift and had to work hard to get myself excited to smoke them. Even drunk, I couldn't make it further than halfway as they just tasted like your average NC... when they would burn correctly.

I have to say they are CRAP, CRAP, CRAP!!!!!!!!!!!

:moon:  Gerk, get over yourself please....I do not like tossing my cookies every time I see your "press releases" let alone your product.  I would rather roll up a piece of dog crap and smoke it.

I am in a mood!:whip:

How could I possibly be impressed with a cigar from a company that has yet to even launch a cigar into space? Now THAT would be a great tasting cigar...
