East Coasters... who's outside and what are you smoking?

With the temperature projected to be in the high 60s today, I'm not missing the opportunity to burn one outside and still feel my fingertips at the end. I had a frostbite smoke in the rain last week... HU Connie 1. Somehow I fell into an 08 box code from a place in Madrid summer of 2016. Unfortunately, it didn't smoke like it was 10 years old.

Today, I'm thinking a Connie A might be in order to celebrate the end of this hellacious winter we've had in the northeast.

I might be putting something down tonight. My sister is coming over and you know she loves her Cubans. We'll probably smoke something easy. RGPC for her or HUPC. I don't wanna be mean, but she doesn't have a trained palette (I'm no expert either, but I paid for them. ??). I have a Cohiba medio siglo burning a hole in my "pocket" (travel humidor) I've dry boxed it for almost 5 days now. Should be ripe. I want it to be the first cigar I smoke on a given day, so that I can appreciate it that much more. 

If I decide to go in a completely different direction, I'd grab one of my newly arrived ED Conde Bélicosos. (I might wanna dry box that too so it might have to wait.)

What I meant to say was... It'll be a game time decision tonight. LoL

Just smoked a quick Liga Privada #9 coronet on my lunch break, it's gorgeous out right now.  I have soccer practice with the kids after work.....wish we didn't have a 20mph wind coming in tonight.  Maybe a Vegueros Mananitas tonight, I have a box of 14's that I haven't dipped into yet

Perfect weather in dc today. I had dental work Tuesday and am forbidden from smoking for a while, unfortunately. 

 

Were I a free man, I’d probably be enjoying a BRU AGO 10 monte 4 right now and an MDO4 later.

Damn it - if it's anything I am not a big fan of is high winds and smoking. If the temp feels right out later I may smoke, else we have the weekend to look forward to!

2015 VR Don Alejandro. Plugged pretty tight. Perfectdraw helped. Now that it's heating up I can feel the plug in the middle. Hoping it gets through that before I give up and chuck it.
