There are so many Partagas PCs or close to that size, 40 or 42 ring gauge.

Personally, I've only tried the PC Especiales and I think it's a great cigar for the price, followed by Shorts.

Are they all similar in taste?

thanks.

Great question as there is a bit of a glut of these in the Partagas lineup.

I was a big fan of this range in the 90s and early 2000s back when these were MM in cello. I was always partial to the Aristocrats and Super Partagas in those days.

In the early-mid 2000s I found the PCE to be the best of the bunch.

Now, I like the Mille Fleurs the most. Probably the most complex and balanced of the bunch.

I have not had all of these, but of the ones I have tried, I like the PCE. Close call between that and the Shorts. Pretty much all of these are a great value for the money.  Can't go wrong.

MF and Shorts. The PCE is good when on but inconsistent I think. As@nsxcigar said above the MF is more complex and the Shorts to me is consistent. In the summer I usually smoke and give away nearly a 50 Cab of shorts. Such a great smoke. But I’ll keep the Mille Fleurs to myself..

I don't know if I'd put the Shorts in the same boat as the others TBH. I've always considered the Shorts a step up--a more premium cigar, if you will, than the other small Partagas offerings. By that I mean when all of these are at their best, I'd take the Shorts over all of them. Always seemed like better tobacco is going into the Shorts. The others are not always using the best stuff they've got. Kind of like the tobacco going into the RyJ Coronitas en Cedros, Belvederes, Londres Extras compared to the PCs and Ex 4. I consider the latter to be more premium than the former. Or the HU Majestics, Regalias, Epicures compared to the PC.

Good topic.  Been eyeing the PCE, MF, Aristocrats and Super myself. I'd like to buy a box or two from this range to try.

Anyone have thoughts on which of these are most representative of their brand.  The most Partagas tasting?

That's how I look at it too. Most of the above partagas are cheap and cheerful.  The shirts are just small and priced accordingly.

Shorts with Aristocrats a distant second
