Over the past few weeks I've had a few different Partagas in smaller vitolas.  They've all been singles purchased from two different vendors.  I'm looking to purchase a box.  Here are my rankings of the four that I tried:

1. Super Partagas

2. Shorts

3. Aristocrats

4. Mille Fleurs

I'm looking for opinions/recommendations.  If you had to buy a box of these four, which would you pick?

sh0rts, only because I have never bought or even smoked the the others.

Vendor; Rob = FOH if you buy.  Thier must be  reason the other smokes excluding the "shorts"

never see the "light of day" on 24:24 that should be a clue!

I think that pic kinda ends any speculation as to what you prefer of the four...

I just love the "I haven't smoked them but I'll give an opinion anyway, 'cause I'm such a brillant person" answers…

One day someone will answer: “Punch DC all the way, because I don't know what a Partagas is and I smoke only big cigars”…:P

IMO the best one is the Short, because it's the only one that shows that typical Partagas sweetness… But I find difficult to answer without taking account of the price factor: last time I purchased a box of Aristocrats, the price was just above half the price of a box of Shorts…

Another voice in the choir; Shorts. If I have to smoke a CC fresh, the Shorts are up among the ones I'd reach for first. Ages great too, even just with a couple of years. That strong yet balanced pepper, paired with classic Partagas flavors. Not much room for change but who wants change when what you have is so delicious?

I do like the Aristocrats too, that would be my second choice.

True.  I have smoked all on the list.  The Shorts are the top of that list and if it is only one box then that is your ticket.

I will add that I do also like the Mille Fleurs and Super Partagas.  They are a little larger length and come at a good ROI.

amazing concurrence among answers.............:o

Culebras should be considered a short smoke.  Probably weights less than a Short.  Short is brilliant smoke and a 50 cab doesn't take up much room.

I'm a relativist. A dog is big when compared to a mouse, but a dog is small compared to an elephant.

If I think small Partagas, my mind goes to Shorts - obviously - and a Chicos. Maybe, a Habaneros.

I log Aristocrats and Super Partagas as medium.

Verbally flog me if you must.

Survey says "shorts" by a mile and that seems on the mark. Maybe 1% think members should try the

other Part.'s mentioned but why waste the money.  There must be a reason we never see them on 24:24.

I'm sure if the other Part.'s made the grade Rob would put them up for sale but they must be at the tier 2 level

not worth the trouble.......

I've had the Super Partagas, the Party Short and the Mille Fleur.

I like the Super Partagas best as it is super reliable across the 10 or so I have had to date.  The Short has been much more variable.  Higher highs but lower lows than the Super Partagas.

As a regular smoker of all of the above, I must agree with Frank.

If money is no object - go with the Shorts as they are generally more consistent.

If money is a factor then - Cor esp if you like some oomph, Mille Fleur is you like more medium. Habaneros are quite strong too, but a bit smaller than Cor Esp.
