Bohn007 Posted November 5, 2016 Posted November 5, 2016 The 2008 Montecristo #2. Creamy and complex. 2
Hurltim Posted November 5, 2016 Posted November 5, 2016 RyJ Wide Churchill. Perhaps the perfect companion to a well made manhattan. Hence my recent purchase of a PSP box of them off of a recent 24:24.Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G920A using Tapatalk 1
Texwrangler Posted November 5, 2016 Posted November 5, 2016 RASS....setting outside, enjoying the warm temps of Texas while watching the sun go down. don't get no better..... 2
Duffer Posted November 6, 2016 Posted November 6, 2016 I opened the box of Cohiba Siglo I that I purchased a few months back from the Prez. It is not a typical size for me but I was blown away by how good it was. My cigar for October and hoping they are all as good as the first one.
RWhiz Posted November 6, 2016 Posted November 6, 2016 RASS from one of my first CC box purchases from 2012. When I made the purchase, I was very new to CCs and with this cigar I am really experiencing how aging works with CCs. Plus it was a great cigar. 2

I too have a box from 2012 but have not smoked one yet. 1
RWhiz Posted November 6, 2016 Posted November 6, 2016 Toasted sweet tobacco, the semi sweet stewed fruit taste that they are renowned for as well. Some spice, nutmeg type flavor as well. What was impressive though is that the earlier cigars had some of these flavors but not this intense or all the way through the cigar. The earlier cigars I had from this box became bitter and tar-y about half way through, not this one however!

I intend on feeding on this box soon and looking forward to the adventure! 1

Dimmers Posted November 7, 2016 Posted November 7, 2016 Another outstanding CoRo from an ever dwindling 2008 cab *sob*. 1
Cmelle Posted November 8, 2016 Posted November 8, 2016 Probably this petit churchill. So simple, but so good.
Saxman Posted November 8, 2016 Posted November 8, 2016 For me it was the Romeo y Julieta BelicosoROA ABR 06 took me by surprise. Much more complex than expected. Got from our host of course. Sent from my iPhone using TapatalkSaxman 1
foursite12 Posted November 8, 2016 Posted November 8, 2016 The size is ridiculous, the price is obnoxious, the flavors are miraculous. Trini Vigia gets my vote not just for the month but also as regular production CoY. 1

zeedubbya Posted November 13, 2016 Posted November 13, 2016 As crazy as it sounds I do believe these are my cigar of October. Not because it was the best cigar I had but it was such an overwhelming surprise. I think me and @Lotusguy are the only two people who have discovered these little gems. 2
JohnInCleveland Posted November 13, 2016 Posted November 13, 2016 Connie 1. It's a good cigar, but there's something about it that takes me back to Havana. This had no label for some reason. Smoked half a box of these there in March on the patio and by the pool, the smell and taste takes me back. Its hard not to go back whenever I have 3 days to spare. It's the most special place I've been.

anjimj Posted November 17, 2016 Posted November 17, 2016 RET May 13 Cohiba siglio IV. Just delicious all the way through. Creamy, coffee and sweet tobacco all the way through the last third.
rxavier1979 Posted November 17, 2016 Posted November 17, 2016 This one is my pick. The first CC I ever had was an Epicure Especial and it was a negative experience but also didn't really know what to expect back then. Since then, I didn't have a great impression on the HdM blends. That was until I had this one. I don't know if it was because my expectations were already set so low but this one blew me away. Not overly rich, but very nuanced latte/hot cocoa flavors. I didn't get much in the way of earth or pepper but my palate is still maturing. Loved it and made my glass of cabernet that had been open for 3 days a rockstar! 2
