Partagas Grand Reserva for Mr. October and the Chicago Cubs!!  Drops Microphone...

Maybe the October cigar was the PL Encantos.    Wonderful smoke?

Unknown code VR Unicos. So good. Baking spice flavors, a first for me.

RyJ Wide Churchill. Perhaps the perfect companion to a well made manhattan. Hence my recent purchase of a PSP box of them off of a recent 24:24.

I opened the box of Cohiba Siglo I that I purchased a few months back from the Prez.  It is not a typical size for me but I was blown away by how good it was.

My cigar for October and hoping they are all as good as the first one.

RASS from one of my first CC box purchases from 2012.  When I made the purchase, I was very new to CCs and with this cigar I am really experiencing how aging works with CCs.  Plus it was a great cigar.

What flavors are you getting? I too have a box from 2012 but have not smoked one yet.

Toasted sweet tobacco, the semi sweet stewed fruit taste that they are renowned for as well.  Some spice, nutmeg type flavor as well.  What was impressive though is that the earlier cigars had some of these flavors but not this intense or all the way through the cigar.  The earlier cigars I had from this box became bitter and tar-y about half way through, not this one however!

Thank you for the update. I intend on feeding on this box soon and looking forward to the adventure!

This was my Game 7 smoke and a great selection it was! Lasted me through the whole 10 innings and smoked phenomenally! Sweet finish too!

For me it was the Romeo y Julieta
Belicoso
ROA ABR 06 took me by surprise. Much more complex than expected. Got from our host of course. eeba303c6c89a7a8e6b784c7a0ed6018.jpg

The size is ridiculous, the price is obnoxious, the flavors are miraculous. Trini Vigia gets my vote not just for the month but also as regular production CoY.

As crazy as it sounds I do believe these are my cigar of October.  Not because it was the best cigar I had but it was such an overwhelming surprise.  I think me and @Lotusguy are the only two people who have discovered these little gems.

Connie 1.  It's a good cigar, but there's something about it that takes me back to Havana.  This had no label for some reason.  Smoked half a box of these there in March on the patio and by the pool, the smell and taste takes me back.  Its hard not to go back whenever I have 3 days to spare.  It's the most special place I've been.

Most people here that know me know that the Connie 1 is one of my favorite cigars. I had one yesterday. Creamy and smooth with great flavors.

RET May 13 Cohiba siglio IV. Just delicious all the way through. Creamy, coffee and sweet tobacco all the way through the last third.

This one is my pick. The first CC I ever had was an Epicure Especial and it was a negative experience but also didn't really know what to expect back then. Since then, I didn't have a great impression on the HdM blends. That was until I had this one. I don't know if it was because my expectations were already set so low but this one blew me away. Not overly rich, but very nuanced latte/hot cocoa flavors. I didn't get much in the way of earth or pepper but my palate is still maturing.

Loved it and made my glass of cabernet that had been open for 3 days a rockstar!
