RET May 13 Cohiba siglio IV. Just delicious all the way through. Creamy, coffee and sweet tobacco all the way through the last third.

Siglo IV's are some of the most unappreciated cigars in the Siglo line while most people put their focus on the CoRo and Siglo VI. For the record, I am perfectly happy with them flying under the radar. A great cigar

Partagas Grand Reserva for Mr. October and the Chicago Cubs!!  Drops Microphone...

Maybe the October cigar was the PL Encantos.    Wonderful smoke?

Unknown code VR Unicos. So good. Baking spice flavors, a first for me.

Don't quite think this to be true, Bohn. While there are a lot of fans here, the Corona Gorda is among the most popular of the series, at least much more popular than e.g. the Dalia. And while people, understandably, rave about the VI I would venture to guess that the IV is what's actually been smoked more often.

This one is my pick. The first CC I ever had was an Epicure Especial and it was a negative experience but also didn't really know what to expect back then. Since then, I didn't have a great impression on the HdM blends. That was until I had this one. I don't know if it was because my expectations were already set so low but this one blew me away. Not overly rich, but very nuanced latte/hot cocoa flavors. I didn't get much in the way of earth or pepper but my palate is still maturing.

Loved it and made my glass of cabernet that had been open for 3 days a rockstar!

I struggle pairing red wine and cigars together.  Maybe its because most of the reds I drink are incredibly dry, but the tannins and cigar smoke just clash.

I guess I am just coming from personal experience in what I have seen. As a format, I will agree on the popularity but all I seem to hear is people talking up CoRo and Siglo VI, IMHO. Personally I love the Siglo IV and have a recently acquired cabinet of 2006 that I am just giving a chance to get rested and then will start burning with little or no restraint.

Yep, certainly true as for the CORO, but isn't part of the Siglo series.

One that springs to mind is a Bolivar Libertador that I smoked sitting outside the LCDH Berlin drinking champagne with my wife on my birthday....the smoke matched the occasion perfectly

Very true. I think for the Siglo series, the number one seller is the Siglo II. After that, I am not sure. Both the Siglo IV and VI are harder to find
