apparently the biggest salmon of the year from this river in iceland. 28 lbs, 108 cms.

who knew clapton was even a flyfisherman?

mind you, well named as slowhand. took him 2 1/2 hours to land it.

i don't know much about freshwater fishing but that's the biggest salmon I've seen caught on a rod.

Also, picked up some Whisky cured salmon at Reef today, the place opposite the Wine Emporium at Gasworks. Crazy good!

Whiskey cured salmon ....sounds good to me...... that fish looks as old as he does.... nice work though

I had an idea that he liked to fish. There is an old documentary about him that talks a bit about his substance abuse problems. At the end he's  shown driving  in his Aston Martin to a fishing spot close to his home.
