El Presidente Posted September 29, 2015 Posted September 29, 2015 It didn't take long to find the first "clanger" of this months Warehouse visit This is one way to help soften the cigar shortage......don't ship full boxes The below box is how it arrived...well not really, I straightened the cigars for the photo. You would be thrilled to have purchased a box of 25 and received 18. While most months I come across a box or two missing a cigar...this is the first time I can recall 7 cigars missing. Nice work. Definite Clanger. 1
danny Posted September 29, 2015 Posted September 29, 2015 Hahaha! I guess "short supply" really does mean "short supply". I would be so upset and the thing is that nobody would believe me if I said 7 cigars were missing if the box was sent sealed.
busdriver Posted September 29, 2015 Posted September 29, 2015 At my "warehouse" that is usually the product of my drunken buddies ransacking my stash! 1
SCgarman Posted September 29, 2015 Posted September 29, 2015 Whomever packaged that box probably traded those 7 cigars for a couple of nice lobster tails and a couple of pork tenderloins! 2
kuma Posted September 29, 2015 Posted September 29, 2015 Someone had "sticky fingers" on the way to market.
Ken Gargett Posted September 29, 2015 Posted September 29, 2015 whenever i complained about boxes coming up short, you told me it was tax! 1
PapaDisco Posted September 29, 2015 Posted September 29, 2015 And what Cohiba do you think the missing 7 Petite Churchills were rebadged as? 1
Fuzz Posted September 29, 2015 Posted September 29, 2015 Damn! Those tobacco beetles really did a number on that box! Who knew they could eat 7 whole cigars and leave no trace?
jat Posted September 29, 2015 Posted September 29, 2015 That's Quality Control for you! You're right....there must be at least 7 blokes on QC judging by the number of missing cigars. I wouldn't mind one of those jobs.
finecigar Posted September 29, 2015 Posted September 29, 2015 Those cigars look decent- but 7 missing!? Dang. I have never seen or heard of that many before. Is that a popular cigar?
skalls Posted September 29, 2015 Posted September 29, 2015 So out of curiosity, what's the protocol for handling that? Do you get reimbursed or are you Sol?
Fuzz Posted September 29, 2015 Posted September 29, 2015 So out of curiosity, what's the protocol for handling that? Do you get reimbursed or are you Sol? As Rob is in the warehouse, I'd say he'd be handing it back to PCC.

potpest Posted September 29, 2015 Posted September 29, 2015 That's crazy. Looks like it was going to be a half decent looking box aswell.
Scrubber Posted September 29, 2015 Posted September 29, 2015 That's crazy. Looks like it was going to be a half decent looking box aswell. End up being just half full. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk 1
CUBANO Posted September 29, 2015 Posted September 29, 2015 Whomever packaged that box probably traded those 7 cigars for a couple of nice lobster tails and a couple of pork tenderloins! Yeah. My cousin Juanito did that; that's how he gets to feed his 3 chiquitos.
