El Presidente Posted June 17, 2015 Posted June 17, 2015 Just a quick Bushido update for those patiently waiting The great news is that they are a cracker cigar as can be attested by those with whom I shared a box in Maiori Italy and London. The bad news is that stocks are really limited......ridiculously limited. We have received less than 15 boxes to date. The box numbers on those were mostly in the 20's and 30's. There will be 2000. Eventually The problem is that PCC has not received their full order of 2000 boxes from Habanos S.A. Nowhere near it. Like....nowhere. The situation will improve over the coming months (That is a big statement...but I am confident) and we will endeavor to meet all the requirements of those on the waiting list before moving onto making singles available. The supply situation for a PCC Regional is not one that I have experienced before. It is certainly not the fault of PCC in this case. For a 2014 Regional to be struggling to be supplied in June 2015 is a poor state of affairs. The ones that I have seen were boxed in DIC 14. I will continue to follow up on supply and post updates. Trust me nothing would make me happier than to put a smile on your dial with the arrival of 4-5 master cases but as of right now they are dribbling out at best. Will keep you in the loop 3
kuma Posted June 17, 2015 Posted June 17, 2015 Was in Tokyo about two weeks ago and would visit a cigar store in the heart of Shinjuku called Kagaya. They seemed to have a healthy supply of said smokes on hand. Mind you it was a small store but they still had them and I'm sure they receive stock from PCC. Price wise it was not cheap (yen) for a stick so I bought a Punch / Punch instead. 1

I would bet that all 2000 boxes are not made with the same tobaccos as I can really see no other reason for the delay. I mean we're only talking 2000 boxes here. That's not that many in the RE program. This does not bode well for Habanos S.A., or more accurately, Tabacuba.
