And whatever John Wayne can't take care of, Chuck Norris can always step in and help out I'm sure! sneaky.gif

Love it. Here in Toronto our cyclists believe that they own the road and the side walk and want all the rights and privileges of pedestrians, bikes and cars without needing to obey the rules of the road.

Could have done with John Wayne this morning along St Kilda Road - The Cyclists along this route are shocking!

Forget signalling, pulling out of their lane suddenly, almost hit one with the Jeep. Would have greased my bull-bar.

The Duke is most welcome during peak times IMO ;)

if you liked that vid, you're going to love this one. I had to watch this one a few times to really appreciate it lol.

Yep, see that rather often - They watch the Tour De France, throw on some spandex and instantly think they are Contador, the don't look whats in front of them or around them, completely in their own world, only they are riding in peak hour traffic.

I have no issue with Cyclists on the road provided they obside by the same road laws as we drivers have to.

As for the video, perfect10.giflol3.gif

Gold!....if you're from Sydney it's a constant battle against the cyclists and their protagonist, Lord Mayor Clover Moore......she rips up city roads to allow more bike paths...to the detriment of struggling businesses along the way!...

*cough*ahem*we're not all twats*cough*

Just quite a lot. I cycle daily, but hate the attitude of many cyclists who seem to think they have some sort of precedence.

Yes, I went to his house in Winterset once. Tiny little place where he spent his childhood before he had to move to a warmer climate for his health.

As a cycle commuter through London, I can relate!

Hahahaha! Good stuff. :lol3:

There is a real problem in the District. Between, cyclists, motorists, joggers & walkers, dog walkers, commuter buses, etc. it has become dangerous to drive in a city that just was not designed with streets to accommodate all these forms of transportation. The issues of obeying the laws are another matter all together and just add to the problem. The city gubmint has initiated a policy that is really anti-automotive. But the public is an ageing one which makes no logical sense. Sigh...

As someone who splits their hobby dollars over a few areas, including both cigars and cycling (not at the same time), I'd just encourage everyone to enjoy the chuckle, but not to forget that when you see us out there we aren't protected by 3,000 pounds of steel. Drive safe, please.

The vast majority of cyclists don't want to be in your way. Just like the vast majority of driver's mean well, too.

I ride mountain bike but refuse to cycle. City here is painting cycling lanes etc and 95% cant keep pace with traffic or obey any traffic laws, hog the road and just generally piss me off. Cyclists. I hate you all!

I get annoyed by cyclists on the M7 here in Sydney. There's a dedicated cycle path that follows the length of the motorway, but is not on the motorway itself, yet cyclists insist on riding on the motorway. Cyclists complain when a car or truck buffets the living daylights out of them going by at 100+kph. The emergency lane/shoulder is not a cycle path!
