JohnS Posted May 2, 2015 Posted May 2, 2015 Winifred Eugenia Augusta Frances Should we nickname her 'Winnie Royal Blue'? (An Australian slang term for a popular cigarette brand)
Cornell Posted May 2, 2015 Posted May 2, 2015 Royalty fascination is beyond me. Those guys have lived off the hard work of their peasants for centuries. Name her Britney. 4
Jeremy Festa Posted May 2, 2015 Posted May 2, 2015 Agree! All the best to them but monarchy is a primitive thing! Sent from my iPhone

PapaDisco Posted May 2, 2015 Posted May 2, 2015 Do not forget all african and american people and countries they slaved and sucked. Yes, well, consider all the quality plumbing they left behind. 2
canadianbeaver Posted May 2, 2015 Author Posted May 2, 2015 Bookies seem to dig Alice and Diana . Love Gertrude. My late mother in law. But no matter what, Shlomo has it, her first name will be hashtag!
Ken Gargett Posted May 2, 2015 Posted May 2, 2015 Monarchy should not exist this day and age. They absolutely useless. i am as committed as a republican (and i am not talking usa politics) as anyone but as far as britain goes, no, disagree. they and all the pomp and ceremony that goes with them are massive for britain's tourism industry. granted a lot of that is the same fascination as people seem to find with a trainwreck. that said, holy crap. in the last week we have the execution of a number of people in indonesia (i would add that while i am opposed to the idea of supposedly civilised nations solving problems with firing squads, those idiots were serious drug dealers and got caught in a country with little tolerance where they knew their likely fate - and for anyone wondering, i can point you to exactly where god resides, as it seems that everyone who steps into a prison anywhere finds him) and the infinitely greater tragedy of many thousands killed in nepal and up to two million who have had their lives horrendously affected for the worse. not a word on the forum about any of this, at least as far as i could see, but we are discussing the name about to be given to some sprog on the far side of the planet born into the most dysfunctional family imaginable, bar the mansons. anyone who thinks humanity is not doomed only needs to look at this thread for compelling evidence to the contrary. 4

Well said. Not to mention nothing about the situation in Baltimore.

I agree Ken, but threads about the topics you speak of would most likely open a can of worms that would lead to discontent and bad feelings amongst the members here and would, in the end, most likely be shut down by the mods. Threads concerning the above would likely lead to violations of, if not of the topics themselves, #2 and #3 of the FOh Seven Commandments. I,personally, come here for the lightheartedness and discussions of our hobby, cigars. That being said, I would choose Elizabeth. Damon 1

Damon damon, i appreciate what you say though can't imagine the tragic situation in nepal would lead to much discontent. but even this one, we have had the topics of slavery and subjugation monarchy/republic raised. so nothing is free of this. sad that it can't seem to happen. but for me, this is really scraping the bottom of the barrel.
