Two movie night....but we have seen most of the recent releases (past 12 months) in the action drama at least.

Your top two picks of movies released in the past 2 years.

Your top two pics of all time

Will make the decision based on your recommendations.....and print out the list to refer to in the cold "ish months ahead ok.gif

The top two movies released in the last two years for a wet weekend? 1) Interstellar by Christopher Nolan 2) The Grand Budapest Hotel by Wes Anderson The top two pics of all time? This is especial

Whiplash and Interstellar were the best two movies that I saw recently. Shawshank Redemption is always one that I get sucked into whenever it is on TV. Predator is another classic when I need an act

I have to agree with both of those. Grand Budapest is truly marvelous.

The top two pics of all time? This is especially difficult. These are not the best two, just two that I return to again and again...

1) The Big Lebowski by the Coen Brothers

2) The Good, The Bad and the Ugly by Sergio Leone.

Past 2 years...

12 years a slave - mesmerizing & infuriating all at the same time.

Others are kid movies as we don't get out much with 2 young kids. Can vouch for Guardians of the Galaxy. Very entertaining movie.

All time..

Shawshank Redemption

Silence of the Lambs

The Shining

Just loop these two continuously.....

I don't have much experience with recent films except on planes.

As far as all time favorites, Groundhog Day and Midnight Run.

In light of the weather, you might consider The Poseidon Adventure or Sharknado

I only saw three movies last year: Gone Girl, American Sniper, and A Most Violent Year. I enjoyed and would recommend all three.

All time, would have to go with Goodfellas (or Casino) and The Big Lebowski.
