El Presidente Posted April 16, 2015 Posted April 16, 2015 Now I know there are plenty of articles on the "Best Cigars" I post this here only because it gave me a serious giggle..more than most. I haven't even heard of some of these. Cigar Fast Food journalism but hey....good fun http://www.billionairesaustralia.com/worlds-best-cigars/
Tacls Posted April 16, 2015 Posted April 16, 2015 This has to be a joke of some sort. Either that or the person who wrote it has absolutely no idea about what cigars actually are. 1
Deodato Posted April 16, 2015 Posted April 16, 2015 'Studded with Swarovski crystals'. Such understated elegance. I love it.
Zigatoh Posted April 16, 2015 Posted April 16, 2015 Loving the behike price (original humidor version) versus the behike picture 1
fingerburner Posted April 16, 2015 Posted April 16, 2015 Billionaires* of Australia have a website? *Wankers 2
jayceskinner Posted April 16, 2015 Posted April 16, 2015 Just worked out the Aussie taxes on that abomination of a cigar (Gran Habano) are $426,463.92 As for the rest of that list I say that all the Aussie billionaires can keep and enjoy all of the cigars listed.
JohnS Posted April 16, 2015 Posted April 16, 2015 Gurkhas are mentioned not once, but twice! Avert your eyes, with haste... 2
moryc Posted April 16, 2015 Posted April 16, 2015 Swarovski crystals WTF? My wife would be all over that, than she would probably throw it out after two puffs and go back to her Siglo I or Patel's 1999s.
Fuzz Posted April 16, 2015 Posted April 16, 2015 I really do hope the Aussie billionaires go and buy these cigars. Leaves more Cubans for us. 1
Coloniales Posted April 16, 2015 Posted April 16, 2015 Really funny list... Gurkhas twice... The Danish cigars are bespoke for sure, Jan the owner is a nice guy. But the cigars are meh! Keith.
Maestroso Posted April 16, 2015 Posted April 16, 2015 Prez, are you planning a wrapper switch test of Cohiba wrappers soaked in Louis XIII Cognac vs other chemicals of choice? We would enjoy reading a weekly tasting review.
Ken Gargett Posted April 16, 2015 Posted April 16, 2015 looking forward to your selection for the next video. better be good! 1
polarbear Posted April 17, 2015 Posted April 17, 2015 Article should read "World Most Expensive Cigars" I wonder if I start buying boxes of RASS from Rob and then start trying to flip them for $2k a stick if I'll make the list next year?
cigcars Posted April 20, 2015 Posted April 20, 2015 ...'Man's fixated on Arturo Fuente's Opus's, and as far as I gather...I think he was just relaying what he READ somewhere and is passing himself off as some kind of "expert" without any real thought or experiencing for himself.
FredClever Posted April 20, 2015 Posted April 20, 2015 Thanks for the great cigar recommendations. I got a box each and will be puffin away on my crystal-covered grand piano tonight! http://www.billionairesaustralia.com/crystal-covered-grand-piano-on-the-market-for-620000/
asmith Posted April 21, 2015 Posted April 21, 2015 If this is a so called 'billionaires' website their mathematics is a bit weak. The second most expensive piece of **** in their list, The El Gigantic was meant to weight 1,600 pounds which would by my calculations makes 62,373 Robustos, if you claim robusto to be an average size cigar. However their calculations say that there are 25,000 average cigars in the weight of El Gigantic. That makes their average cigar 29.09grams WTF? What sort of average cigar is that?
Bclass1 Posted April 21, 2015 Posted April 21, 2015 Loving the behike price (original humidor version) versus the behike picture I was just about to comment on this... If your going to pay tribute to "original" Behike, they can at least attribute the proper photo..
