Hubba Posted May 18, 2015 Posted May 18, 2015 Put a bit of age on the PC and it is a fantastic cigar. Can't argue with how good the Conni A and HC have been released.
Boosted Posted May 18, 2015 Posted May 18, 2015 Man, this is like picking a favorite child. I guess, Mag 46 Sir Winston PC
tmac77 Posted May 18, 2015 Posted May 18, 2015 I voted for the Connie #1. For me easily the best of the Upmann Marca in regular production.
dtrott Posted May 19, 2015 Posted May 19, 2015 Never had a Winnie so........I give it to HU #2 and a close second to the Mag 50.
SCgarman Posted May 27, 2015 Posted May 27, 2015 Love the petit coronas. Cannot believe only one other person mentioned them. 1
BonVivant Posted May 28, 2015 Posted May 28, 2015 OR 2013 Connoisseur A, although I do not care for the cigar - might be because of the excessive RG 1
Gamehawker Posted June 1, 2015 Posted June 1, 2015 It's not on the list. It is hands down the H. Upmann Super Coronas!!! Super Habanos discontinued them about 10 years ago!
FalseCast Posted June 1, 2015 Posted June 1, 2015 I'm not voting because I haven't tried enough to give a valid opinion on the poll... but, I love me some '13 No. 2's and HUHC's. Definitely both cigars I will buy again without a doubt. I love the HU profile and I cannot wait to try a Sir Winston. 1
nick2021 Posted June 7, 2015 Posted June 7, 2015 sir Winnie .... But I've heard the Connie A is a very fine smoke as well
reliefdvm Posted June 8, 2015 Posted June 8, 2015 I've seen the connie A's on 24 a couple of times but they sell out in a blink of an eye. These are too expensive for me to buy blind - so I guess I'll have to be quicker next time they come up. 1
Notsocleaver Posted June 11, 2015 Posted June 11, 2015 Not sure I would call the Sir Winston production rate high enough to call 'regular'. 1
garbandz Posted June 13, 2015 Posted June 13, 2015 Based on construction and consistancy I vote Half Corona. Based on enjoyment Petit Corona Based on potential to improve Sir Winnie
joncat Posted June 13, 2015 Posted June 13, 2015 This is a marca that has numerous cigars that are consistently very good; more so than any other marca. Connie A, Sir Winnie, Mag 46, Epicure 1 & 2. They are all great cigars. if I had to choose just one its a toss up between Connie A and Sir Winnie. Im glad I don't have to choose and I always have all of those in my humidor.
hjmclain22 Posted September 18, 2015 Posted September 18, 2015 I haven't smoked many HU, several HURRs and HCs. I really like the RRs but I think they could use a nap or a daydream....half coronas...for me why bother. Nonetheless, what is the allure of say the SW or no. 2 that draws you back time and time again. For me Upmann has presented one of the sweetest dessert like and flavorful cigars that I've had. If the SWs make a 24:24 I think I will bite to see what all the buzz is about.
cigarbreak Posted September 18, 2015 Posted September 18, 2015 Of those that I've tried from the list of choices, in order they are: SW Connie1 HUHC No2 Mag46 If Connie A was there that would take it for me without even blinking.
jsd Posted September 19, 2015 Posted September 19, 2015 For me it used to be Sir Winston but now the No 2s are on top. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Waldschrat Posted September 19, 2015 Posted September 19, 2015 Sir Winston (but hard to get) - Mag46 is second
jedipastor Posted September 19, 2015 Posted September 19, 2015 Isn't the Connie A regular prodution? That would be my top choice. As listed, I voted for the Mag 46. It always hits the spot for me, one of my favorite Cubans. Sir Winstons can be awesome, though, no doubt, as can the #2s. I also had a great Mag 50 the other day. Overall, I think HU is one of the best marcas, for me anyway. One of the only marcas where I actually like every single vitola.
ethernomad Posted September 20, 2015 Posted September 20, 2015 I'm very encouraged by the love here for the Mag 46. There's a box from our host in transit to me now. Tried one in a sampler several months back and was smitten. Sir Winston is now added to my try list.
