marper331 Posted January 19, 2014 Posted January 19, 2014 I'm thinking about picking up a box of PL regionals. Any suggestions on the three that are available?
shlomo Posted January 19, 2014 Posted January 19, 2014 i like all three from the AP region, but the encantos is the only one different enough to warrant a premium imo. plus it is the most affordable of the 3, and maybe even the lowest serial numbered. not too sure about that though.
bogglor Posted January 19, 2014 Posted January 19, 2014 I think Encantos are probably going to be the consensus.
lopezoscar03 Posted January 19, 2014 Posted January 19, 2014 I have smoked 2 encantos and thoroughly enjoyed them Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I337 using Tapatalk
finecigar Posted January 19, 2014 Posted January 19, 2014 Highly recommend the PL Robustos 07 (asia pacific release)...still widely available. You won't be dissapointed
shlomo Posted January 19, 2014 Posted January 19, 2014 Lonsdale 2006 Pretty sure it is not so easy to find anymore, and the OP I believe was referring to the Asia-Pacific editions. I have not had the 2006 German PL, but the Magnificos are the best PL I have ever smoked, but taste NOTHING like a regular PL. So, not sure if thats a good thing or bad thing.
CaptainQuintero Posted January 19, 2014 Posted January 19, 2014 Highly recommend the PL Robustos 07 (asia pacific release)...still widely available. You won't be dissapointed Dark, rich, sweet and awesome
zmancbr Posted January 19, 2014 Posted January 19, 2014 -pl encantos -pl robustos 07 -pl beli 08 In that order every time. 1
Optic101 Posted January 19, 2014 Posted January 19, 2014 I faced the same question few weeks back during one the sales offer and decided for the encantos.
Overproof Posted January 19, 2014 Posted January 19, 2014 I think Encantos are probably going to be the consensus. +1
ehdg Posted January 20, 2014 Posted January 20, 2014 IMO you can't go wrong with either the Encanots or the Robusto's. Both are very nice and the Robusto's are smoking really good right now!!
Bartolomeo Posted January 20, 2014 Posted January 20, 2014 1. Robusto 2. Encantos 3. Beli But you really cant go wrong with any of the 3 above Sticking with AP Regionals, I highly suggest the Quai Superiores RE, JL #4 and SLR Pacificos........all 3 smoking well right now Bart
Surucipe Posted January 20, 2014 Posted January 20, 2014 Haven't smoked the Beli's yet, but the Encantos are really good and the Robusto's are probably my favorite cigar at this moment.
marper331 Posted January 21, 2014 Author Posted January 21, 2014 Thanks for your recommendation! I have decided to go with the Encantos. A change of pace from the robusto size.
Laxman Posted January 30, 2014 Posted January 30, 2014 Highly recommend the PL Robustos 07 (asia pacific release)...still widely available. You won't be dissapointed x2
fingerburner Posted January 30, 2014 Posted January 30, 2014 IMO you can't go wrong with either the Encanots or the Robusto's. Both are very nice and the Robusto's are smoking really good right now!! The Encantos are slowly coming into their own but I have to agree with ehdg, the Robustos are smoking out of their skin at the moment. Have smashed about 6 in the past month and have been left stunned each and every time.
nick2021 Posted January 30, 2014 Posted January 30, 2014 07 Robusto's get my vote! X2, robustos are really smoking good right now....
Stogieninja Posted January 30, 2014 Posted January 30, 2014 I have a box of these I need to dig into. Gonna be one of the first as soon as I'm over this friggin cold!!!
kjellfrick Posted January 30, 2014 Posted January 30, 2014 Among the Asian regional PLs the Encantos stand out for me. I don't get the love for the Robustos at all. Mine are meh. If I can pick my favourite worldwide PL regional i would pick the Magnificos or the Lonsdales, both great smokes. The Regalias de Londres aren't too bad either.
