What Cigar Doesn't Like You?

Just sitting having a Friday cigar on the deck with the usual suspects and I have a Bolivar Belicosos Fino in my hand and I hate it!

Don't get me wrong, it's a good cigar, well constructed, beautiful wrapper, aroma at cold is great, it ticks all the boxes. But it just never tastes good. I want to like this cigar but it doesn't like me. The BBFs suck me in all the time I keep going back and I keep hating them.

Surely I'm not the only person out there who has a cigar that doesn't like them.

BBF and BRC hate me. I can only remember one good BRC that I've smoked in the last 2 years. BBF is always horrible for me. One freakin harsh cigar.

Partagas P2. Every single one I've had has had some kind of niggle, whether it be a background sourness, or slight harshness. These always get in the way of the flavours that I so much enjoy in the D4, 898s and Lusitanias.

Strange to see the bbf mentioned so many times... i regard that cigar as one of my "safe" smokes 9 times out of 10 it delivers for me.

Ramon allones SS seem to hate me.. or i just smoke them at the wrong time or get a duff box... i have had a couple when they are "on" and i love them but unfortunatley for me they are few and far between.

I'm with the "want-to-love-but-can't-seem-to-do-it" camp of the PSD4. Have rested and smoked a handful and each and everyone time the draw was too damn tight for my liking. Think I may have passed out from lack of oxygen shortly after letting one down too lol.

Cigarmantim gifted one to me at the TO herf last year (think it was a PSP) and man it was beautiful. Dark and oily and the tastiest one I've had to date ..but man the draw was too much work that really dampened the experience.
