Ryan Posted December 17, 2012 Share Posted December 17, 2012 Congrats, Andy! If you don't mind me asking, what are you sailing in the picture? To be honest I don't really know. I come from a proud tradition of landlubbers! It's a friend's boat, all I know about it is it's 42' long, fibreglass hull, made in Germany about 6 years ago. He has it fairly well set up so he can just about sail it solo if he has to. He has taken it around the coast a couple of times. The Isle of Man I think is the longest trip offshore he has taken it. We had a plan to go to the south of Spain in it a few years ago but never happened. Through another friend, he got to take Tim Severin out in it for a sail around Dublin bay a few months ago. Some more pictures of that day with Prez, great fun. It's actually very similar to that "Bootlegger" behind Rob in this picture. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
