Interested in hearing which cigars have been the biggest disappointment to you. A cigar you were really looking forward to that just didn't do it. For me, it was the Parti Lusis...I do not care for DC's so never had the urge to try one but I ended up grabbing a cab after hearing endlessly how good they were and I was let down greatly. They had about 2 years on them so not all that aged but certainly not fresh. I tried 5 of them and they just didn't cut it, ended up moving the cab for tried, tested and true. I am quite disappointed the next GR is a Lusis, I think the P2 would have been a fantastic choice. Looking for standard production here as the LE's and RE's will always get the flack, the one cigar that stands out as a disappointment for you?

You shouldn't be. We all taste different, we all like different things. Just think about food. Some like mushrooms while the others don't. Some like lamb the others don't. Some like spinach the other

... throw a dart at the current catalogue! You will likely hit one... -

Monte 2, never had a good one, or even an average one come to that.

Ditto. Monte 2 just doesn't do it for me. I don't get how this is considered such a great example of a Cuban Cigar.

Some very interesting choices here, shows really how subjective cigars are...

Sir Winnie. Never had a good one and everybody seems to love them for some reason.

Runner ups:

RyJ Short Church (bleh)

Siglo VI (some are great, too many are just average or worse)

PSD4 (See above note)

Mag 46 (So much love, not sure why. They are just OK to me, mostly below average though)

JL2 (Have NEVER enjoyed these, not even one)

Quai D'orsay Imperiales (WAAAY too light and floral for me)

Trini Rob Extra (Never had a good one)

Trini Rob T

Lets just say I have my favorites and don't see any of the above list in my future rotation. Not for a LONG time anyways...

Sig vis are ok but I don't share the same sentiment towards them as most of this forum and I've smoked through a box of them at least.

Short churchills I enjoyed when my palate was young, not sure now.

PSD4 I get are terribly inconsistent but I love them and will continue to buy. Some are meh due to bad rolling and others have been outstanding.

Mag46 same as sig vi, while I won't turn one down they don't do much for me.

JL2 I do enjoy, good solid tobacco but have had poorly rolled. Will continue to purchase.

Trin robo T, don't care they are being discontinued.

Lusis I find are terribly boring.

Coros with age are one of my favorite robustos.

Don't care for anything boli except especial 2 lancero.

Upmann 2, all examples I've had are bland and one dimensional.

PL robusto, do not like though am willing to try a couple more then that's it (thanks for reminding me LG)

Probably an incomplete list but to mind come:

RyJ Churchills (not for lack of trying  )

Partagas Shorts - I have NO clue why so many people love them

Many other Partagas (exception D4 - I've concluded that the Partagas profile just isn't for me)

RyJ Hermosos #2 LE and Duke LE (the former bland as can be and the latter harsh)

Cohiba Maduro 5 Genios (what was I thinking when I picked up a 25er of these)

Trini Robusto T

Several REs: Boli Quinta Avenida, PL Robusto, Boli 108, JL Distinguidos, PL Encantos, for example

Cohiba 1966 LE

RG Perlas

Trinidad Robusto T

Monte Grand Edmundo

Tried at least 2 of each but just couldnt acquire the taste for them

Monte GE

Cohiba Piramides extras (a very costly practical joke. A bland &Boring cigar)

Cohiba Vs

Monte Edmundos

ALL Los statos de luxe (shouldn't even be considered a Cuban cigar)

Punch royal selection no. 11

All Davidoff Cubans (except for DP) but don't waste your money on em' ... If you're really okay with spending over 100 on a single then go for dunhills

SC el morro

PL Magnums (not worth the hype or money of vintage cigars)

HdM Palmas Extras

Trini robusto T

Just a short list that comes to mind here.

Monte Open series.....heard how bad they were, tried for myself just to see (and cuz we had a box that wasn't moving...even the tourists must know)......it was worse. It was as if bland could be even more bland.

On a more serious note, Boli rc
