CaptainQuintero Posted June 19, 2012 Posted June 19, 2012 So I was sat in the sunshine today with an ice creama nd was wondering if I was able to blend myself some cigars to any flavour what would I go for? The ice cream must have helped as I decided on mint choc chip. The mint from some Punch/Bolis, hoyo/upmann cream and Monte/Sancho chocolate. Chocolate orange could be another I'd like, Monte especial #2 combiend with some tangy citrus nicaraguan tobacco Anyone else?
cigcars Posted June 19, 2012 Posted June 19, 2012 Hey, youngster lol! It would be combo Quay D'Orsay, Por Larranaga, and Ramon Allones, all rolled into a Corona Gorda size. For me a very tasty treat!
canadianbeaver Posted June 19, 2012 Posted June 19, 2012 OK here is really goofy/bizarre idea that may even sound kind of on the Ghurka side, and for this I hang my head in shame, but here goes. What if you stuck your finger in a shot of tequila or your very best rum, and ran it up the side of a cigar, and then smoked it. OK, I will shut up now.
Vortigan Posted June 19, 2012 Posted June 19, 2012 Chocolate orange could be another I'd like, Monte especial #2 combiend with some tangy citrus nicaraguan tobacco Anyone else? Mate I love the sound of the chocolate orange version, put me down for a box of those when you've cracked it I'm becoming an increasingly bigger fan of Nicaraguan leaf.
Colt45 Posted June 19, 2012 Posted June 19, 2012 What if you stuck your finger in a shot of tequila or your very best rum, and ran it up the side of a cigar, and then smoked it. Plenty of people dip their cigars in beverage of choice while smoking. I have one friend who used to pour a bit of rum in a cigar tube, then leave the cigar to infuse for a while. Do whatcha like.
Bernid Posted June 19, 2012 Posted June 19, 2012 I was thinking along the same lines, the other day, Since it takes a certain blend to make that flavor such as mint, chocolate, coffee, caramel, etc.,if you want to combine the flavors, why not smoke multiple cigars to get the flavor blend you want? Is that too simplistic? Has anyone tried this? I think will be trying this very soon. Chocolate/Caramel, Mint/Pistachio, Citrus/Cream.....

Vortigan Posted June 19, 2012 Posted June 19, 2012 ^Do your friends know you're regressing? hehe no this has been my first confession
Dbone Posted June 19, 2012 Posted June 19, 2012 May I suggest a box of chocolate covered orange peels in the mean time
AverageJoe83 Posted June 19, 2012 Posted June 19, 2012 I think a cigar that had a root beer aroma, and root beer float taste to it would be euphoric!
CaptainQuintero Posted June 19, 2012 Author Posted June 19, 2012 would you drink two different wines at the same time? :D meanwhile in the blending room at El Laguito...
El Presidente Posted June 19, 2012 Posted June 19, 2012 ^Do your friends know you're regressing? Cut him a break.....it was Sunny in London and he has gone "troppo". No doubt there was a hankerchief on his head...the ends tied in little knots
Vortigan Posted June 19, 2012 Posted June 19, 2012 Cut him a break.....it was Sunny in London and he has gone "troppo". No doubt there was a hankerchief on his head...the ends tied in little knots Yep,that's it! Just like this....
Ophidion Posted June 19, 2012 Posted June 19, 2012 I'd love to see the birth child of a Rass and a bgm.
mm12 Posted June 20, 2012 Posted June 20, 2012 I've gotten a decent chocolate orange flavor in some 08 Magnum 50s. I'd like to see caramel/salt (PLPC combined with Sancho Non Plus) and chocolate cherry (VR Unico combined with RA 898 or a really good RyJ).
almudawi Posted June 20, 2012 Posted June 20, 2012 Mine would be Por Larranaga's Caramel + Montecristo's chocolate + Behike's creaminess and a touch "just a little touch" of Cohiba's nuttiness as an undertone. All rolled into a 109 aahhhhh cigar bless
