Squarehead Posted April 1, 2012 Posted April 1, 2012 On this day 46 years ago my wife and I got married.Anyone out there can top that?Only one wife counts.
CanuckSARTech Posted April 1, 2012 Posted April 1, 2012 Wow! Awesome, Hans! Congrats! Can't think of anything better to top that on this day - 46 years strong, that's one heck of an achievement indeed! My wife and I are rounding 6 years for this upcoming June, so that's a feat and a half for us; I can't fathom the joy and lifelong fulfillment that 46 years must bring! Well done, to you and your better half! Kudos and cheers!
NMJoe Posted April 1, 2012 Posted April 1, 2012 Congratulations! You both are an inspiration to an institution that needs great role models. My parents will be celebrating their 51st anniversary on Wednesday. In a world where everything has become disposable, I am in complete awe of devoted, life-long relationships. Great accomplishment! Thanks for sharing! Cheers! Joe
Ken Gargett Posted April 1, 2012 Posted April 1, 2012 ; I can't fathom the joy and lifelong fulfillment that 46 years must bring! you could always ask rob!!
mazolaman Posted April 1, 2012 Posted April 1, 2012 On this day 46 years ago my wife and I got married.Anyone out there can top that?Only one wife counts. Surely one wife is enough! You must have gone deaf years ago..... Congratulations mate.
bacalao Posted April 1, 2012 Posted April 1, 2012 Congrats to you and the wifey. Our only claim to fame is 14 yrs married and no kids, unheard of for hispanics lol. We still practice though haha. So what cigar will be smoked?
Sam92 Posted April 1, 2012 Posted April 1, 2012 Congratulations Hans, today all you hear about are divorces, and to see you have 46 years with your wife is awesome. All the best to both of you!
riazp Posted April 1, 2012 Posted April 1, 2012 The fitting cigar to smoke would be a padron 46th anniversary!
benjaminbbush Posted April 1, 2012 Posted April 1, 2012 that is awesome. My wife and I will hit 5 years in June. congratulations to you and your wife.
TWalker Posted April 1, 2012 Posted April 1, 2012 Congratulations to both you and your brid, Hans. What a great achievement.
Squarehead Posted April 1, 2012 Author Posted April 1, 2012 Thank you all for your wishes and congrats to all the others.I have to correct my inital post since there're also Husbands. I think the secret to a long marriage is;commitment,Listen to each other, make some changes to your previous lifestyle and be objective, never hold a grudge for too long(and I should know,a few times I did't talk to my wife for days after some arguements, due to a rotten temper I had). Riazp:last year i had a Padron 45 but can't find any 46.Oh well something else will do. So thanks again to everybody, try hard and don't give up.
Squarehead Posted April 1, 2012 Author Posted April 1, 2012 I married 46 women 1 year ago. In 1964 when I was in Finland I didn't see that many women. What happened?
