Ghabanos Posted March 12, 2012 Posted March 12, 2012 A QdO Lancero or Lonsdale. I could work with that....
ChanceSchmerr Posted March 12, 2012 Posted March 12, 2012 I think Diplomaticos is way overdue for a Regional Edition. Will PCC get only one release this year, with that new clamp down on how many regionals get released in a year? I have to wonder. Anyway, my vote would be for a Diplomaticos Corona Gorda. Or a Dip Robusto. They tried a Dip Lancero with the Dip #6 and #7......long time discontinued for those! Also - I'd vote against yet another PL RE.........mostly they are great cigars from what I've tasted, but there has been sooooo many PL Regional editions, both in PCC and globally (I mean how many PL Robustos/Double Robustos can you make without introducing them as regular production?) - I say either expand the regular Production line of PLs, or stop flooding the market with PL Regionals. Tell Habanos we clearly love our PL's, now we want to try other ignored marcas!!!!! There's my $0.02!
FireDigger Posted March 12, 2012 Posted March 12, 2012 Sancho Panza Robusto, Bolivar 898, Ramon Allones PC 50 cab, La Gloria Cubana Corona Gorda, Diplomaticos Churchill, Vegas Robaina Delicado, Por Larranaga Double Corona. I'm on board with the Double Corona/Prominente idea. There has only been three DC RE's and only 15 since the Revolution. I think we need some more DC/Prominentes, maybe in boxes of 10 to make them affordable.

ckearns Posted March 12, 2012 Posted March 12, 2012 I'm in the Diplomáticos camp. Here's a brand that has been completely obliterated by HSA and I think these are great opportunities to vote with our dollars and show HSA that vitolas from brands like Diplomáticos are sorely missed. - Diplomáticos No. 6 http://cubancigarwebsite.com/brand.aspx?brand=Diplom|aticos#Diplom|aticos_No.6 - or a Diplomáticos in a Corona Gorda format Those are my votes.

cottierm Posted March 12, 2012 Posted March 12, 2012 I'm sold to the idea of a Por Larranaga DC! Best, Michel
Orion21 Posted March 12, 2012 Posted March 12, 2012 Bring back the Boli Lonsdale Rob, make it happen!
BatFastard Posted March 12, 2012 Posted March 12, 2012 PL Corona Extra! There has never been a PL Corona Extra. This gets my vote for sure!

scroggers Posted March 12, 2012 Posted March 12, 2012 I would like to see Diplo 898 or boli 898. Also maybe a Rass siglo VI. Obviously the names would be different but those sizes in those marcas would be great!!
Dbone Posted March 12, 2012 Posted March 12, 2012 The Robusto Diplomaticos has my vote. I love the Dip line, and Cuba seems to be able to construct Robustos pretty well these days.. maybe best constructed vitola.
thechenman Posted March 12, 2012 Posted March 12, 2012 My vote would be a Diplo in a Flying Pig format...
riazp Posted March 12, 2012 Posted March 12, 2012 Diplomaticos in a Corona gorda size would be my first choice, but RObusto or Lancero would be awesome as well. RA in a Dalia, Lancero or even a 109 size would be amazing.
Strada Posted March 12, 2012 Posted March 12, 2012 1-Rafael Gozales Piramides like the Conicales or a cervantes like the Lonsdale 2-Ramon Allones Dalia 3-Punch Salomones
FrankBlack87 Posted March 12, 2012 Posted March 12, 2012 either a RA corona, lancero, dalia, or 109. -豐
cigaraholic Posted March 12, 2012 Posted March 12, 2012 I don't care what it is as long as it's a dalias.
winelover Posted March 12, 2012 Posted March 12, 2012 If they do a Dip RE they should try and respect the non-bling honest value heritage of the line. Obviously they'll be sold at a premium, but let's hope a dip robusto doesn't cost the same as a CoRo - but don't hold your breath!
tinknocker924 Posted March 13, 2012 Posted March 13, 2012 I love the whole idea of bringing back discontinued lines la escepcion, la corona, cabañas, gispert, la flor de cano I mean let's keep it interesting
tydra Posted March 13, 2012 Posted March 13, 2012 Has anyone tried the Punch Robustos Emiratos? Those have a great profile and are very bold and intense. I'd love to see these in a lonsdale format. Also, I've yet to try a RA that doesn't disappoint. I just had a RA Beritus last night and wow; wouldnt mind a RA in Robusto extra format one bit. Please no small cigars for a RE, IMHO, they kind of beat the point of a RE.
rckymtn22 Posted March 13, 2012 Posted March 13, 2012 Bring back an old size La Flor de Cano Gran Coronas or Rafael González Coronas Lonsdales. Enough of the RA and PL's. Something different
ChanceSchmerr Posted March 13, 2012 Posted March 13, 2012 Please no small cigars for a RE, IMHO, they kind of beat the point of a RE. This fascinates me - Why would a small cigar beat the point of a RE? Must an RE be a Robusto, Dobles or some other jawbreaking size? why can't it be about unique brands and sizes that really show something different to the consumer in that region? Besides, some of the smallest RE's have been some of the very best, IMO - The Punch Superfinos (a Minutos) of 2005/2007 was one of the original RE's - it is absolutely delicious now! Or more recently - I smoked a single of the Juan Lopez Seleccion No. 4 RE Andorra, and immediately bought a box, it was that good.....and I normally have no like at all for Juan Lopez! That one is a Perla size! Different Strokes, man.......please understand that I don't mean to disparage your comment, more just to understand what you mean by it beating the point of an RE - 'cause there have been some really good small-format RE's!
