Wing
Cohiba BHK 56. Consistant, nice, beautiful but not unique or better when compared to Reservas and Grand Reservas. Relatively comparing the amount of tobacco and flavor to other regular Cohibas, they are not really not worth it.
melies
Not Really "a box" but I bought ten RyJ Escudos EL 2007 from LCDH o god the horror... the HORROR I tell you!!!
Leopolis Semper Fidelis
A box of Ramón Allones Gigantes bought about ten years ago. I had about half of them, and EVERY SINGLE ONE WAS PLUGGED! The rest were off-loaded on to some poor unsuspecting sod. However, the vendor did supply me with a replacement box, and its contents were rather bland in the flavour department, although not plugged, fortunately. Stalebread
Nothing that I would ditch outright. I'm very suspicious of the Ramon Allones Celestiales Finos (Jun '09). The ones I've smoked have been pretty bland. But I keep trying them and hoping.
markmurase
Cohiba Siglo VI, box of 10, code DSE ENE 07. Bought from Dubai Duty Free. Terrible: very green, very harsh. Incredibly disappointing compared to the magnificent box of 03 Siglo VI which I'd bought a few years before. I have one from this box occasionally, hoping they'll improve with age. Not much improvement yet, but I'm still hoping

bolivr
Punch Petit Punch EMA Feb 08. Acrid despite the box age which is disappointing when I really enjoyed others in the marca like the Punch Punch back in the day when they were on.
IcedCanuck
That's easy, when I was starting out and didn't know anything about CCs I bought a box of 'José L. Piedra - Nacionales' and a box of 'Guantanamera - Compay'. I don't know the box codes because they got tossed a long time ago. I still have a few of the Nacionales in my humidor but as soon as I need the room they will be tossed if I have not given the rest away by then. They are both absolutely horrible. BobLobLaw
Hoyo Regalos URO AUG 07. Just taste like mud. One of the first boxes I ever purchased. They are buried and will turn in five to ten years. Otherwise I had some hoyo and punch dcs that were quite bland but I already got rid of most of those
77stoneblues
I picked up a Nub sampler box, just for kicks. Not good...
bassman
Bolivar PC TEB MAR 08.These cigars are my go to sticks if I need to give one to someone. I just don't really enjoy them. Even my girlfriend doesn't like me smoking these, as they don't smell as nice as the others. I have a cab of this exact code. Wonderful cigars. For me, a box of 06 SLR Serie A. Used to be one of my favorite cigars, but my tastes have changed. Just don't like them much any longer.
aavkk
Siglo IV MEL ABR 08Rolled WAY too tight. When I want to smoke one, I have to dig around in the box a bit to find one that's not overfilled. As soon as I need that space in my cabinet, the better specimens are going to my desktop and the rest to the trash. Put them in the back of the humi for 5+ years and forget about them. The ones that are super tight may need more time but eventually they should open up. You can always drybox each example for a week or so before smoking it. Thats generally a good idea but on tight smokes it can make all the difference in the world.

tsolomon
It would be a box of Monte 4s EPR MAR 08. One out of five might have been smokeable. The draw was bad on the majority of them.
bigfunkyg
For me it was a box of 01 HdM Churchills. I think I have four left from the box and I can't remember one decent one. Plagued with construction problems. I had hoped age would turn the corner on the but after 10 years I don't think there is any hope for these. I think I'm going to give them another 10 and hope for a miracle.
Guest rob
Sancho Panza Sanchos (98 I believe) I bought a box and 2 singles..... bleh. I smoked the two singles and that was enough for me..... reminds me of silty seawater/seaweed....
LeafLover
Box of 09 Monte 2. Don't know why, but the flavors are just not doing it for me.
khamy
Hi, i' m a poor unsuspecting sod, the type that doesn't know one end of a cigar from another, i've heard complaints about bhk's, Monte 4s, psd4. Please send them my way, even if they taste like crap I'll make sure I have a lamb dinner first, to increase my chances of getting such flavor notes.. On a serious note, not to keen on edmundos and TrinibT's, but don't have boxes of those, thank god.
dicko
box of party shorts (yes, true) from 07. threw them in the bin a couple of weeks ago.
cigcars
Not Really "a box" but I bought ten RyJ Escudos EL 2007 from LCDH o god the horror... the HORROR I tell you!!! you really cracked me up with that one, Melies! A tad empty in flavor I'll admit, yes.
cigcars
It was a very long time ago, that I ended up with (since discontinued) Romeo & Julieta Celestial Finos and this was from a truly reliable vendor. When I saw them and then smoked one I thought to myself, "Oh my God...someone has put Mexican cigars in here instead of Cubans!" The wrapper was oscuro dark for a habana and more consistent with Mexican tobacco than Cuban. I felt so bad for the poor guy...didn't have the heart to let him know. kevinfj
Monti EL 2010.............The Grand Edmundo. More like the Grand El Puke-o. Hands down the worst box of cigars I have ever opened. It offically ended my EL career. Thank you FJ
riazp
Monti EL 2010.............The Grand Edmundo.More like the Grand El Puke-o. Hands down the worst box of cigars I have ever opened. It offically ended my EL career. Thank you FJ FJ, Give them some time, I have smoked two, my second six months after my first, and they are coming around big time, these have some massive aging potential. Maybe you just got unlucky and got a bad box. Revisit this cigar in six months, you should see improvement.
kevinfj
I hear you. I get impatient. Its just that I wish these EL's had more character. They all seem to taste the same. The Monti Sublimes I have are still "just ok". Thanks for the imput. I will try them again......... FJ
