Tough call:

2004 RYJ EL (Hermoso #2) at my 25th b-day when you could still smoke in a pub

or

Reynaldo Lancero smoked at a management retreat in the Rocky mountains on a stunning fall afternoon.

*although it had zero flavor, the los statos deluxe - for sentimental reasons. It was my first cuban cigar that I obtained in my quest for habanos. the very first one I legitimately located and acquired. however, as far as flavor - a well aged cohiba esplendidos. and a vegas robaina pyramide. and a montecristo no. 2. and a H. Upmann no. 2.

Probably my first Siglo VI.. I remember after all the hype surrounding this cigar and the expectations I had of it, at one point I found myself too scared to even smoke the thing. I had read plenty of reviews and it seemed like the king of the mix.. After I finally torched it I was floored.. It delivered in spades and by the end of the cigar I felt like a better man than I was the hour before.

What a great yet tough question Oz...

I'd have to say I love the Montecristo D LE2008 and equally respect and love Mag 48! The COHIBA Siglo VI is also a fave. (So many great CC's out there)

I agree wholeheartedly about the MAG 48 just love them ,i have not had the Montecristo D LE2008 ,but will take your word on that one

If It has to be the best of the best cigar I've ever had, It has to be the

two cigars from the 1992 CUBATOBACO 1492 Humidor, Grand Corona, Corona Gorda,

Made in the H.Upmann factory.

My buddy and I smoked them on New year's eve of 2000 and into 2001, at a great resturant

in N.J. with our families. :cigar:

I had a Partagas 898V one night back in 2007 I think. It was of a recent box code but a single. I don't know what it was about this cigar but I fell in love with it. I was sitting on the porch of a beach house looking over the Atlantic with a Gin and Tonic on a sultry summer night. My wife, who was pregnant with our first child, was beside me in a roking chair. We were the only people in the world. The sounds of Otis Redding were drifting out from the stereo inside. It was the most heavenly thing that I had ever smoked. Since that day, I have smoked through boxes of 898V and haven't had another that tasted anwhere close to that stick.

I'm going with the cigar that sparked my passion for Habanos.....the MC2.

A CoRo with my best man sitting in a chair watching the nite life go by in Windsor,Canada on my bachelor party!!!!!!!!

Why were YOU smoking a cigar on your bachelor party? Shouldn't you have been sitting in the chair while someone else was smoking the cigar...?

"I smoked just one cigar with my dad before he died, so I guess that'd be it. I was just out of high school, and it made me sicker than ****."

As sad and touching as that is, it made me laugh.

We've discussed this before, but i love how the 'best' cigar one has, often has nothing to do with the cigar.

Now that is life!

02 Taboada super robusto, smoked in Havana's Parque Centrale an hour after watching him roll it.

Best regular cigar, 92 Lusi.

For a specific cigar, I'd say the Upmann Monarcas A/T from '98 that I smoked a year or so ago.

But more generally the RA Belicosos UK regional is my favorite cigar . . . for now.

It's incredibly hard for me to choose between the two, but I'd have to say favorite cigar on the basis of how often I smoke them and how consistent they are is the Bolivar Coronas Extra. Close runner up is Partagas Connie #2.

Thanks Guys some really good stories along with some magnificent Cigars ,along with some really touching moments in life ,which confirms what i have always known ,that is Cigars are more than just a smoke, they are markers on the road in the journey of life.
