Did it pair with JL1? ...it did indeed match well - petrol notes of this 15 years old Remigiusberg made it strong enough to compete with the cigar (which I found rather smooth). Should work well with HU as well, but certainly not Partagas. ....did not expect anyone here who knows Tesch..... Lots of bittersweet chocolate, some leather and earth, a hint of cream, and a deep/rich spice. Martin has just taken over the business from his father and was experimented with the soil and the plants. So I got the chance to drink the older "old-fashioned" wines and the "new" lines from Martin. Love the Unplugged, St. Remiguisberg and Königsschild.
