tjohn7 Posted October 21, 2014 Posted October 21, 2014 Sunday was my wife's birthday, so we went out to the Chop House here in Ann Arbor. They have a nice cigar bar in their basement. I called before and was told I couldn't bring my own sticks, but then when we got there I was told that I actually can. Since I hadn't packed any I smoked a Padron '64 Principe (NC I know ). It was good, but nowhere near any of the Cuban marcas. It made me happy that I wasn't just drinking the Kool-Aid and thinking that Cubans are better. (And boy, are they better!) 4

A wonderful smoke, paired with the greatest of all drinks: Red Bull . Well maybe that last part isn't true, but I've gotta stay awake somehow, especially after a long week of work. 1

Started herbal tea and honey-ish, became progressively buttery as it went along, almost a lemon-pepper note in the last third. Really rich and complex. 2

The flavor is just incredible and exactly what I've come to expect from a good Epi 2. Really young, too. Excited to see how these fare with time. 4
