Popular Post Boss Hog Posted Thursday at 10:37 AM Popular Post Posted Thursday at 10:37 AM Back at our hotel after spending the day in Dublin. Relaxing while smoking a Hoyo de Monterrey Epicure No. 2 (TRU NOV17). The Carton House in Kildare is a majestic estate and only 40 minutes away from the capital, allowing us to visit daily while still enjoying the beautiful outdoors. Highly recommended, especially for those of you that enjoy playing a round of golf. 29 1
Popular Post VeguerosMAN Posted Thursday at 03:15 PM Popular Post Posted Thursday at 03:15 PM The Pledge purple. I expected a perfect burnline from a $18 cigar. It started out with a velvety chocolate note and transitioned into metallic pepper. 10 5

Popular Post Connoisseur Kim Posted yesterday at 07:40 AM Popular Post Posted yesterday at 07:40 AM Punch 8-9-8 REG OCT 19 Clearance from our host with Bunnahabhain 12 CS 2023 Edition on yesterday at cigar lounge allowing both BYOC and BYOB. While Punch 8-9-8 was quite similar to my previous experience, it showed some new notes that I didn't detect back in the day such as coffee, floral, fruit, honey, mocha, and vanilla. Also, thanks to 6 years of ageing and low 60s RH storage, the Dalia sized ER Lonsdale packed more intensity yet smooth with fantastic burn and draw which made me enjoyed this special CC for 2hr 47min to nub (almost close to smoking time for Double Coronas XD 😂). 5 out of 5 (Paragon of Cigars) indeed, and this CC deserves to be one of the greatest CCs of all time as it was textbook example of how ageing and Boveda 58% had a positive impact on CCs 👍 In regard to Bunnahabhain 12 CS 2023 Edition, I was surprised how few drops of water could change the whole dram. When I sipped this Islay sherried malt by neat, it usually had dominant nutty, oaky, woodsy, and leathery influence from the beginning; however, with water drop, it opened up sweet butterscotch, berry, fruity including apricot, honey, raisin, and signature nutty notes even more while reducing alcohol burn (made me drank three glasses of this Scotch). I felt glad that I tried water drop method for the first time since the dram would overshadow Punch 8-9-8's flavour profile if I drank this Scotch by neat due to its 60.1% ABV. I really appreciate @jackhammer and @Mike Mecklenburg for recommending Bunnahabhain 12 CS 2023 Edition for cigar pairing and suggesting water drop method 😃! 나의 SM-S918N 의 Tapatalk에서 보냄 23 5

Thank you for the storage tip. I'm fortunate enough to have bought a box of these Regional cigars several years ago, and while the first few examples didn't seem anything special my most recent one with around 6 years on it was exceptional. I've still got some Cubans resting with Boveda 65% packs, and your post will prompt me to change them into 62s like others I've made adjustments to already. 7

I used to use Boveda 65% packs to keep CCs for years like you, but I found CCs were constantly suffering from mold and overhumidification issues (humidity reached 68-69% which was way too high for CCs). After switching to Boveda 58% packs, they performed way better and became tastier unless I smoked them at high ambient humidity environment. 👍 I'm sure either Boveda 58% or 62% packs will do a trick for you in terms of taste and CC storage. 😃 6

And that teenager they have driving it is pretty damn good. 😂 I think Mercedes had the advantage of working with an integrated setup. Engine and car together. The compression ratio thing is seemingly a lesser issue given the findings of the FIA recently. It's not a surprise to me that Ferrari is the second fastest car by and large. They had the same advantage. Beyond that, while Antonelli is certainly a capable driver, I'm skeptical that a teenager is really the best of the drivers. Who among us was at their peak driving at 19 as opposed to ten more years of experience?

Popular Post Namisgr11 Posted 21 hours ago Popular Post Posted 21 hours ago Fuente Angels Share Perfecxion X, bought in 2024. Beautiful wrapper, rich flavors, and abundant with smoke. A brief comment about the vitola. It's 6 1/4 inches by 48 ring gauge. Not just Fuente, but several non-Cuban producers refer to this as a Toro. It's my impression that the term Toro conveys different dimensions among Cuban cigars, typically wider. I really like this particular non-Cuban vitola for being long like a Canonazo or Piramide but not as unwieldy as a thicker cigar sometimes feels. I wish there were more Cuban cigars with these dimensions. 20
