I'm a big believer in the aging potential of Tatuaje. I was lucky to have been given an aged, Tatuaje El Triunfador (2012). It was wonderful -- complex but with a subtle power, with great transitions -- especially for what was and still is a reasonably priced cigar. Box worthy to set aside for aging IMO.

Scored a box of Ramón Allones Allones Superiores LCDH Exclusivo 2019 and was pleased to see teeth. Couldn’t wait to let them rest for a few days, so I smoked a stick in the rain yesterday. Started out mild mannered but 1/3 the way those oil pockets kicked off a lovely peppery boost. Great draw throughout the whole smoke, with creamy puffs of dense smoke. I spent a good 1:30 outside freezing in the rain. Paired with a coffee.
