I personally dont like the robusto size. I think the 50 ring guage needs more length to it. I just don't like the way it feels.

I also think robustos suffer from over production and are inconsistent. I have never smoked a trini robusto, but if I wanted to track down a discontinued trini I would always choose the T-rex which is a fabulous smoke. I also really enjoy the coloniales which is a great unique vitola.

Psd4 some boxes are good but the e2 beats it all day everyday. Richer and more consistent.

Choix supreme taste like a salad vegetal to me, not what I look for in a cigar. But I want to try some recent production as they are supposed to be mere floral and perfume tasting.

Cohiba robustos are about the only exception but they are still my least favorite in the entire line beside maybe the siglo 6. Lancero, Esplendido, IV, III, V, CE, are all better in my opinion.

Ill admit I do like a jl 2 but I have not had the 1 as much as I want to.

Bolivar royal corona is the worst cigar in the line. With all the amazing pc, bbf and bcg quality.

Of course this is just my opinion and only based on a couple three years of me smoking cubans. Maybe it will change but I think in general the robustos are the weakest part of most Marcas. They sell well though because even non smokers are familiar with the size, and help to introduce people to the brand.
