An RE Friday with @Nate Chu C&C for a Saturday morning with this Sir Winston from 03. Today is going to be great if this cigar is anything to judge it by. What a super smooth star

First cigar of the year.

Montecristo 520 tonight. Haven't had one in ages.

How was it? This stick was before my time but I feel like I've heard folks say some pretty positive things about this Monte LE.

When released, they were quite strong for the Marca. Lots of coffee notes in it.  This one wasn't as strong but still bold, the coffee was still there.  Hints of cocoa, great draw and burn too.

Meerapfel Meir Robusto. Intriguing flavors. Lots of umami. The lonsdale I smoked later was terrible in comparison.

Can’t believe the Lonsdale was bad, especially considering the price!

Yes I didn't care for it. I've smoked 2 of them and decided they are not worth the money. The Robustos however are worth a try as the flavor profile is remarkable. But still rather linear.

I had a terrible lancero a couple weeks ago, I had blamed myself but this gives me hope it's not just me.
