I wouldn't worry - I hear it's supposed to be less severe in you older folks due to your enhanced immunity as a result of being exposed to previous 'flu strains.

if this is swine, the only good thing is that if/should i pull through, rob will have to listen to endless tales of how i fought the pandemic and won.

actually, another good thing is that i have been playing around with all sorts of hot toddy recipes.

marmalade instead of honey works very well. rum for me, not scotch. a little freshly squeezed lemon and orange juice - sounds like a resort - and green tea, not just hot water. stir well, though that is usually good advice in any situation.

a little ginger helps, a little nutmeg even more so. paprika, not so much. tho it seemed like a good idea in the fog of death.

Get well soon Ken. My wife had it in June & it is actually milder than many flu strains. Still will make you feel like crap for a while. Rest & plenty of water.
