baragh Posted November 8, 2010 Posted November 8, 2010 Wow a huge variety of jobs in this thread, i'm blown away. Truly people from all walks of life. Already sick of the corporate world at 23, I've recently quit my job at an investment bank since I never got the time to do stuff I really wanted to do (like smoke cigars!) Going to take up a masters in finance next year. Now I get to spend a lot more time enjoying cigars and a whole lot of other fun stuff, unfortunately CC's are a lot harder to afford when you don't have a job, so it's a bit of a catch 22
thechenman Posted November 8, 2010 Posted November 8, 2010 Let's see, I'm a... Full-time father of two (8yo son and 2 you daughter) Full-time husband Full-time son Full-time chauffer Part-time coach Part-time tutor Part-time Mr. Fix-it Full-time punching bag And oh yeah, during my down time I'm a full-time VP at and independent equity research firm specializing in financial services companies. What do I really want to do? I'd like to be either a drug dealer and pimp, or a politician...I figure those are about par in most people's eyes...
rdb6 Posted November 8, 2010 Posted November 8, 2010 For the past 12 years I have been in the golf operations business. Before that I was in the automotive repair, parts and tire business(family business). I wish I would have known you could make a living in the golf business 40 years ago. I enjoy doing what I do for the most part and have very few days that I don't want to go to work. Imagine being on the Gold Coast of Long Island, NY everyday watching sunsets that would blow your mind. I also get to play golf during work days. What a country!
