Hi,

I've been lurking here for some time now and really enjoy the mood and content of this forum. I see a few familiar names from other forums here.

I've been smoking cigars for a few years now and I'm looking forward taking part here.

welcome.

rob, you just have to get people to understand that just because you enjoy something, doesn't mean it isn't work. and when you have convinced lisa, please have a word to the tax office on my behalf!

I was just there for a few weeks over dec/jan. Lovely city! The baggot inn was great, but being able to pour your own pints is a surefire way to get absolutely legless by the end of the night. Great beer selection at the porterhouse as well, i wish there was something like that here in sydney.

JMH, if I'd known! I live less than 1/2 mile from the Baggot Inn.

Next time. :-)

» Welcome! I flew through Shannon a coupla times... Are cigars that expensive

» everywhere in Ireland?

Hi, if you saw prices in Shannon duty free, cigars are more expensive everywhere in Ireland.

There are sometimes deals to be had though. There are a few decent shops in Dublin. Stock is usually stored well and can sit around for a while so aged cigars can be found.

I get most of my boxes on mainland Europe.
