El Presidente Posted June 9, 2006 Posted June 9, 2006 First Cigar, First Girlfriend, First Car? Romeo y Julieta Churchill, 1982 with my father. 17, finished school. Dad sat me down and passed me a beer and one of his sacred R&J. Josephine. We were both 15. She was as mad as a cut snake. Mt Maria girl and family friend which mean't getting together was easy. I bumped into her 5 years ago with my wife. Josephine was wearing a leopard print low cut "dress" with high heels, heavy makeup and loop earings. I introduced her to my wife who thought she looked like a "working girl". I loved that girl. Holden Kingswood V8. How I didn't die I have no idea. What a great Friday Night to the "Drive In" car. Bench Seats, the growl of the V8...Life was good.
skid11 Posted June 10, 2006 Posted June 10, 2006 H.Upmann petit corona AT in a fancy restaurant in Jersey Channel Islands back in the Late 1970's. I'll always remember it because as I slide it out of the tube it was broken in half ! The **** of a pompous waiter said to me "Did Sir sit on it" !! Needless to say being a young bloke with a few under he belt he got a verbal lashing and I got another cigar ! Since I was educated in all boys schools I was bit of a late bloomer, So I met my first real Love at age 17 years, her name was Hillary but called herself Jill , theirs a song in there somewhere (lasted about 2 years)all lovey dovey mushy kiss kiss young puppy love stuff enough said;-) Blue VW beetle with a black sun roof, 1960 model I think, 6volt battery, indicators that came out of the side pillar and NO petrol gauge, only a reserve tank switch on the floor. It was in the day's before Tape cassettes being fitted in cars so I had a Tape player taped to the top of the Dash !!:-)
Lorax429 Posted June 10, 2006 Posted June 10, 2006 First Cigar. Living in the States, obviously it wasn't a Habano. It was an AVO #2 and still remains one of my favorite NC's. First Girl Friend. Kathy. I was 16 she was 15. A beautiful girl. We had fun together. In retrospect, she deserved better than me. At 16 I had no idea how to treat a lady. I wasn't mean or anything, but I was a bit of an immature ass. Even so, our break up was a friendly one. First car. '89 Daytona ES. Chrysler products suck. :-D
Tampa1257 Posted June 10, 2006 Posted June 10, 2006 First Cigar, First Girlfriend, First Car? Schweinfurt, Germany at the 2/64 Armor, Officers Club Commandants Ball. 5 young 2LT's, go downtown to the Tobacco shop to "Look Cool" and smoke our 1st cigar. It was quite funny watching all of us not knowing a damn thing about cigars trying to make up our mind what our cigar for the evening should be. It turned out to be a Montecristo No. 2, and it turned my light on because it was absolutely wonderful tasting. Been smoking Habanos ever since. Elaine was my first "Official" girlfriend, Although I dated several in high school, I never had an official GF until I went to college. We met my freshmen year, she was a really good looking lass. Huge knockers and a small tight rear along with what I affectionately called waterfall legs, (They started at the top and just waterfalled all the way down). Spent holidays at her house and at mine, everyone thought we would be together for the rest of our lives, but my senior year, she decided that she did not want to travel around the world with me and my career in the military. Ran into her a few years ago, she had been married 4 times and had 6 children, and was looking for her next future husband. Glad that she didn't want to travel! 1962 Willis Jeep, 3 speed on the tree. I took that jeep through hell and back, 4 wheeling in the mountains and swamps, never getting stuck. Had a blast with that jeep, but since it did not have a "rag top", it was only for good weather. For some reason, it didn't go over too well for "Date Night". Go figure...........
jadawin Posted June 10, 2006 Posted June 10, 2006 first cigar: flavored handrolled POS. First Cuban: Bolivar Royal Corona fist girlfriend: when i was in middle school i had a girlfriend named Bethany, about as serious as it gets for middle school, which isnt serious at all, haha. After that, i didnt date till college, then i dated a PSYCHO named Megan for about 7 months, very glad it ended with her haha. First car: Jeep Cherokee that im still driving actually. It has 300,000 miles on it and im surprised everyday that it still starts.
cobra Posted June 10, 2006 Posted June 10, 2006 First cigar- unfortunately no memorable cubans. I do believe my first cigar was more on the line of a swisher sweet, cranberry flavored plastic tip and all. On the same note the first time I got drunk and puked was on Cold Duck. No class.... First girlfriend/First car-thats her sitting ontop of my first car. A 1972 Mustang with a 351 Cleveland. Now thats class.....the car of course. img/uploaded/image983.jpg[/img]
anacostiakat Posted June 10, 2006 Posted June 10, 2006 First cigar? An unknown, unbanded stick that I was told was a cuban. Do not know to this day what it actually was. Good though. First girl friend? Barbara. A buxom lass whose parents were friends of my parents. First car? 1969 Plymouth Road Runner! Four in the floor. Metallic green! What a car!!!
cigarnv Posted June 10, 2006 Posted June 10, 2006 First cigar was a Macanudo Hyde Park that I bought from the old Holt's in Philly. First girl friend was Roseanne a hot little Italian honey from South Philly who 100% fits the sterotype of the Italian hottie First car was a 1966 GTO converible 389 with trips, 4 speed Hurst, Hookers, Crane solids, 10:1 JE's and a 4.10 rear. Why didn't I keep this car......
SmokinLightning Posted June 10, 2006 Posted June 10, 2006 First cigar was a Macanudo Portofino, comped to me by a pit boss my first time in Vegas, almost 12 years ago. I was up quite a bit on the blackjack table, and thought I was king of the world. Thankfully I grew out of the Macanudo phase pretty quickly. First girlfriend was Rachael, dark haired, blue eyed, and evil as a snake. She broke my heart right after the 9th grade dance... lol. Ended up dating her again 10 years later, still just as pretty.. yet even more evil... didn't last long. First vehicle was a '75 Chevy 3/4 ton truck some maniac put a 396 in, originally a "3 on the tree" setup with a Hurst floor shifter conversion. What a POS, but it sounded fast as hell! First car was a '73 Camaro, 454 with a TH400 trans... bought from a friend who spent 2 years putting it together, then lost his license because of it.
josie67 Posted June 11, 2006 Posted June 11, 2006 First girfriend was Kelly. We started dating in 1978 when I was 12 and she was 11. Cute as a button. First CUBAN cigar was a Monte #4 in 1995 First car was a 1972 Mercury Comet with a 302 V8 and 3 speed auto on the column.
stogies&hoagies Posted June 11, 2006 Posted June 11, 2006 » Ah. my first girlfriend ;-) . Her name was Mary, I was 14, she was 13. Beautifil girl, long blonde hair, blue eyes, and a great white smile. She was from Georgia. We dated for 2 yrs, but drifted apart during high school. I went to a private all male one, she to a public one. As you know, those two worlds don't mix well. First cigar was a R&J cedros deluxe #3 after a great golf match at the local TPC course in Charlotte, Piper Glen, and dinner at a restaurant where one of our foursome was the sous chef (off that night). After the meal another of the foursome pulled out the cigars, we ordered some B&B and that was all it took to hook me forever on the cigar habit. First car, 1972 Toyota Celica. Blue with a white vinyl roof. Looked like Snoopy's dog house. It could fly though. Did 125 MPH on I-95 heading to Daytona Beach summer of '73.
habanohal Posted June 11, 2006 Posted June 11, 2006 My 1st cigar was an Ashton Aged Maduro #10. Cant even remember how it tasted 1st ( actual) girlfriend was this drop dead georgios blonde Michelle. Actully we met in rehab when we were both 16. She was also the 1st in the back seat of the car. All my buddies couldnt believe I scored such a hottt chick. 1st car was a 1986 Mustang 5.0 Wish I still had it. I dumped over $7000 in just stereo equipment in it alone

Maverick Posted June 12, 2006 Posted June 12, 2006 » First Cigar, First Girlfriend, First Car? » First Cigar: Well my first real cigar was a R&J bought from the dodgy Cigar Shop at the local shopping centre. n2advnture Posted June 12, 2006 Posted June 12, 2006 1st Cigar = Macanudo Crystal or Diplomat, can't remember 1st Girlfriend - Amy - We were both 12 and learned LOTS ;-) of things together. She was great because after we broke up, she told the other girls that I was "experienced" which lead to popularity :-P 1st Car = 1973 VW SuperBeetle. Paid $300 & I towed this pastel yellow run bucket home. 4 years later as I was graduating high school, I sold it for $4200 (1989) - it looked and ran sweet when I was done with it.
Mel Posted June 12, 2006 Posted June 12, 2006 1st Cigar-Swisher Sweet. Girl friend- I used to like the older girls. Now I'm 46 and things have changed. Older girls just don't look the same. Tammy in middle school a pushy big titted girl but hands off. Did not last to long. Found an eager flat chest and was loads more fun. Car-Camaro Z28 fast car almost wrecked it on the first night out. See the trend? Trashy-fast-dangerous. That's the guy I used to be.;-)

First girl: the first I remember is now a nun… but I believe is not my fault. First car: 1975? Porsche 914 which ended up soon after at the bottom of a lake… but that’s another story

PorscheC4S Posted June 14, 2006 Posted June 14, 2006 First bad cigar was a garcia y vega in a box of five about ten years ago. Great draw, but then came the taste... First handmade was probably a Macanudo about 5 years ago. I wouldn't even look at them now. First great cigar was a VSG, not long after the Macanudo, but my tastes have mellowed in the last 5 years and I find them a bit too strong now. I'm hooked on what a recent FOH reviewer called the "Cuban twang". First girlfriend I actually referred to as my girlfriend was Tina. Very pretty and petite strawberry blonde. Started out great. It ended badly because of her very disfunctional family. First car I bought was a 1975 Porsche 911S, about ten years ago. Pretty nice for a first, but then I was 23, not 17. I talked my brother into buying it as a weekend car, hoping his soon to be fiancee would make him sell it when they were married. There I was to help "take it off his hands" after only a year of waiting. Sneaky, but effective.
bgoodz Posted June 19, 2006 Posted June 19, 2006 First Cigar: Toscano, my friend appropriated two from his fathers stash and it was like smoking an old dried root. First Girlfriend: Sue and I was in LUV UV UV :-D :-D (what memories);-) First Car: 1957 Chevy, Black with a 283 and it spelled FREEEEEDOM Thanks El P now I having flashbacks :-)

I married her and we just had our 30th anniversary. First car--1976 Chevy Nova, bright orange, bought by my Mom and Dad for my wife and myself as a combination wedding and college graduation gift.
