Popular Post Chibearsv Posted Friday at 07:48 PM Popular Post Posted Friday at 07:48 PM Surprise retirement celebrations for me tonight and tomorrow night. 34 years with a company I helped start. Bless their hearts for trying to surprise me. I’m not comfortable being the center of attention but I’ll have to buck up. Golf with my SIL tomorrow morning which I’m looking forward to. Then I’m giving rides to the airport Sunday to my daughter and wife. Tilly and I will be relaxing in the Cigarden Sunday afternoon as retirement officially sets in. Cheers all! 18 3 1
Popular Post El Presidente Posted Friday at 07:49 PM Popular Post Posted Friday at 07:49 PM 5:30 am and on a plane to Newcastle (80 mins) and then an hour drive to the Hunter Valley wineries for the weekend. I didn't book it. Apparently no one in our party realised that this flight calls for a 3am rise. 🙄 Should be a great weekend🍷 9 4

(Okay, there was a Wednesday two weeks ago where everyone in my neighbourhood would've have been falling over themselves to get the washing done in the bright sunshine!). I hope you all have a great time! I'm grateful for some sun this weekend up and down the New South Wales coastline! 4
Popular Post JohnS Posted Friday at 10:43 PM Popular Post Posted Friday at 10:43 PM I'm looking forward to celebrating @Luca's Bucks party this weekend. A few Sydney FOH members will also be there. I also have school reports to do because it is that time of year. Let's not mention that! 😂 6 1

Popular Post Dadof3 Posted Saturday at 04:07 AM Popular Post Posted Saturday at 04:07 AM It was my 32nd anniversary tonight and our oldest was recently married so we are going out with his wife’s parents for a nice dinner tomorrow night since we haven’t seen them since the wedding. Then on Sunday I may go to see the new horror movie that just came out with my youngest who is home from college for the summer. Not too shabby all in all. Well that all presumes my wife doesn’t smother me in my sleep with a pillow. After all it’s been 32 years of me. I’m sure she’s had enough. 8 3

Popular Post BrightonCorgi Posted Saturday at 03:21 PM Popular Post Posted Saturday at 03:21 PM Waiting for the rain to stop so I can pull the cars out of the garage. Popular Post Boxer31 Posted Saturday at 07:43 PM Popular Post Posted Saturday at 07:43 PM My son surprised me with tickets for game 5, Habs v Hurricanes last night. A took a quick 4 hr drive down to Carolina. We knew it was probably not going to end well for the Habs but playoff ice hockey is awesome. Canes fans were pretty cool to us and most likely felt sorry for us with how they played (at least it wasn’t the old Boston Garden or Philly Spectrum - which they would not have been so nice, lol). Oh well, it was a good season. 9 1

Not sure if they do the tattoos IN the low-rider WHILE its hydraulic system is bumping it up and down, or next to the giant trailer smoker giving off ungodly heat. Either way, WHAT could go WRONG??? 1
