The thing I find hilarious in politics (not specifically US) is it’s always shoot first, ask questions later. So many things get done, then a year later..oh oops that was illegal and sweep it under the rug and move on. Absolute joke.

Smoke American cigars!  Or at least use CT Shade wrapper to save a little tariff.

You know the rules Banos.

Cigar related or Cuba related...US politics is fair game.

We don't touch issues of corruption and incompetence.

So, Habanos SA is out then.

They wish. :lol3:

The problems of Habanos SA have had more discussion here than anywhere else.

I just ordered a bunch more Fabrica 005, but hopefully since they're coming from Florida it'll be okay for now?

What's in Florida now is fine. Next week's shipment will be hit with the increases (apparently). They will be passed on.

If they’re already in the US, yes.

Understandable. About how long do we have to buy up what's in the current stash, do you figure?

Totally understandable. How much are we talking about in terms of increase?

No idea as yet. I will wait until the end of the week to see how many more backward somersaults the genius makes.

What’s the current record?!

The statute under which he now is imposing tariffs limits him to a max of 15% for a max of 150 days, after which the tariffs expire unless Congress extends them. This is unlikely to happen, since the entire Democratic caucus will not vote for it, and several Republican Congresspeople have voted against his tariffs already.

There is another tariff statute that allows a bit more robust treatment but is limited in application to bona fide national security problems. Make of that what you will.

@El Presidente are the new BR releases already in Florida just waiting for their moment to shine, or have they not been sent to the US yet?
